Need Artist for new project

Hello manga lovers, I am Tanya the creator of Keriamatah. You can find my manga on mangamagazine.net/authors-artists/Huamigra-Inc/detail-page/4788 to get an idea of the quality of work I'm looking for. While Keriamatah was a scripted work, my new project is actually based on a novel called Dead Wings. I will be looking to commit to a 22 page graphic novel and character profiles. This is a moderately long term project and is paid by the page but since my work is competitive, I may take quite some time to decide on an artist. Quality, professionalism and price are the three most important factors I look for in a collaboration; so if interested please either reply to this topic with your gallery or PM me.

I see, the exact details I haven't been able to figure out yet, since this manga is not an original but an adaptation. It will be my first adaptation of a novel, so I haven't figured out what I can do to convey the story. I'd have to send a manuscript to the artist and for copyright reasons I can't put it on mangaraiders. However I can add the novel summary for you.

DEAD WINGS

Dead Wings follows the memoir of Whit Demond, a half-breed who gets his life turned upside down when he is kidnapped from the streets of Baltimore by a mysterious stranger who introduces him to an unknown world. Unbeknownst to the world of humans, there is a parallel world called Exsus where nightmares become reality. Whit soon finds his nightmares coming true when his kidnapper reveals a secret that may shatter Whit's perception of himself and everyone around him.

Whit quickly finds himself in the middle of a royal family feud, the enemy of a powerful dragon and the love interest of a beautiful yet deadly Siren. He soon learns that secrets and lies are the foundation of Exonian society and that Whit may be harboring a secret himself; the secret of a Kuyan, an ancient race of Faeries who govern the whole of Exsus.

i see, so i guess the Q now will be , you are finding  a artist to draw base on your novel or you are making the novel to a manga script.

if you are just giving the novel then i will have to drop out. cause it will take more work .

Ahh, format will depend on the artists' ability; all artists I work with first read the entire plot which is a small novel in itself since I write an entire series. This helps them get an understanding of the characters and where they are going to end up so that too many things aren't changed in the overall story while they are paneling. So the artist would still have to read the manuscript no matter what format is used. I usually use script with original works but since the story is already written I'll have to see what would be easiest and best for the artists to convey the story best after they've read the manuscript.
