Nice drawing that last one. First I thought it's a boy before I realized it's a girl. :D

Coloring is great and it has nice 3D kind of look.

@Killer B !!SAMA!! Haha, thanks XD

@Hasith A few have observed that same thing ahaha. Thank you!

Ah, I do have a new drawing I did over the weekend. I didn't put it up here at first because the quality was kind of low... things when you don't have a scanner *ever mourning*

Spoiler

My attempt at combining backgrounds and characters. A few of you have seen this already.

Thank you for your comments XD
Lol. You're right. It doesn't look entirely bad for a camera taken image. I'm just used to something better looking.
I shall satisfy your desires XD A girl shall be next!

I'm sort of copying the Karneval manga hairstyle. Not quite there, but I love how the hair flows.

I think he's wearing a short-sleeved sweater over a long sleeve shirt O_O I mixed the styles up a bit there. And his pants would be just regular jeans,  I think, but just ripped at the hem.

These days cameras are good as scanners even smart phones have pretty Sharpe cameras even at office we use smart phone with this scan app when we want to send something without going through scanner and whole process.

Anyway This drawing is so nicely detailed! do you plan to color it ?

I remember the day when 'I took the picture with my camera' meant bad quality no matter what haha.

I don't know if you've noticed or not, but your drawings are missing black tones. You have a habit of stopping at mid-gray. I think your work will become a lot stronger if you push yourself to go darker

i agree with Ryan about shade (you could increase the contrast on the picture once you have it digitally as well), but what stood out to me the most was the alleyway looked incredibly thin at the entrance. i noticed the lines on the wall dont have a single vanishing point, so it looks a bit like an optical illusion.

the broken detail on the wall is really good, and you pick up the brick texture of the wall without having to draw every single brick which is great :P

@Hasith Phone cameras nowadays are amazing XD I don't usually colour my drawings. It would be nice to see it in colour though because the character's hair would be a light blue-green.

@Lego I know right... Back in the day when there weren't even scanners...

@Ryan Thank you for your advice. I'll try that.

@Suuper Thanks! I thought the wall perspective was a bit off. Would it be better to have a more perceptible vanishing point? For the wall lines, I tried to mimic that from the Karneval manga.

I'm sharing WIPs today.

Character of mine. Most of it will be coloured black. So I hope to make it dark... dark... dark....
Nigcht WIP

As an experiment I traced the previous pic onto another paper with a black brush pen. I'm not going to finish this because my had was shaking a lot and... it was rather tedious:

And fanart/sketch of my and Crow's characters from Crow's MR Character Tournament and Age of Corruption project.

if you are copying a style of someone elses, or it is your own style, then vanishing points or anything else common sense dont matter. but beware if you forsake the principles, even non-art people will start to notice problems, so its a double edged sword :P

i know what you mean about shaking hands lol. i was asked to draw last week at a party and my hands are like jazz hands while im trying to draw. i daresay thats not why your hands were shaking though :P

she looks like robin from OnePiece
but nicely done, has she got some sort of water/nature elemental thing going on at the feet and clothes?
the pose is really done well, and the folds of the clothes are nice too. its hard to draw a face at that angle but it looks perfect :P
i think though her hips are quite narrow, they dont get any larger from the waist down, but its not noticeable hardly, partly because of the looser clothes perhaps.

I see. Thank you, I'll keep that in mind.

Tracing tremors XD
Drawing away from my desk, I don't think I'd be able to do that ahaha.

Shadow element, actually, as you'll see.
Yeah, the hips are too small actually, I tried to make it a bit better.

@Swearzy Hahaha, what is there to be afraid of from an older sister anyway? XD

I coloured(blackened) and shaded the picture. I don't feel entirely satisfied with it, but I did it how I meant to. The lighting wasn't that great when I took the picture. I might retake it tomorrow and re-post.

This was actually pretty challenging to colour. I tried to make it as black as possible... which lead to major led smudging! Had to be very careful not to rub my hand against any part of it, or the side of my hand would be coated with black, ahah.

Here she is again~

Nigcht

Same thing, just a little darker. I can't get the settings right...
Spoiler

Can you note the four other things that are in the picture with Nigcht?
The wolf is one of them.

nice hidden stuff :P
i couldnt tell what most of them were, but these were what i found
-skunk/hedgehog behind her head
-bat/pair of eyes at hips
-eye on chest?
-vulture? at knee

-i think it looks less like a wolf and more like a tiger cub or something, the one at the top

threres a couple more but i have no idea what they are, and its probably just my imagination at this point :P
