Spoiler
@Ginger Hands off!!  *slaps Ginger's hands*
You're going to make her cry ._.

@NO1SEY Haha, thanks XD

@Vio
Her right eye meaning the one we see as left from our view?
I see what you mean. Would you say the same for the picture below?

@FreezingCicada
Line art has the most impact when everything connects or tapers off.
You can create an illusion of line weight by just simply thickening the corners of where the line meets.

Thank you for your advice.
In regards to the picture below, it would  be better for the rim of the hat to connect to itself?

This is Viviette of Kawai Crisis.
She is the lively and cheerful girl of the group, seemingly always optimistic.

And yes, the door frame is very slanted...

Looks great, very cute! In regards to the rim of the hat, I think it looks alright as is, but I would connect it for colouring (if you are colouring this that is), just to make life easier for yourself. You could also have a little clump of hair poke out there if you want~

@Alkyun
Thank you for your advice Alkyun! I'll keep that in mind.

Here is another drawing that has been lined.
It was meant to be a chibi.

Another of the Kawai Crisis party:

Rim Secon
Quiet and serious girl who can't help using violence to sort things right.

For some reason it reminds me of pokemon...  Think it must be because it has pockets on the jacket and pants while wearing a hat...

It looks pretty good but do you plan on coloring any of these??

@Matsui Thank you! I do plan on colouring the girls, but I'm still learning how to do that XD

@AmanoMai Does it seem so? Hehe, that's funny. Someone thought it looked like from Durarara or Darker Than Black. Pokemon seems more accurate.

@Lego Thanks!
You should watch out for them though, hehe.

I've been experimental with linearting some of my pictures.

This is a character from a story idea I project titled "Kawai Crisis", which was supposed to be a lighthearted visual novel about 5 girls working together to apprehend the - *cough cough* - notorious - *cough cough* - cat man...yet to be named.

Here is Rim Secon in tentative colouring:

Aww, you should of chose the colors:
Red=hat
Blue=shorts/jacket
Black=shirt

Then we would have the new pokemon design XD.  The shading looks pretty good though

@Ginger Thanks XD And yeah, the hands were drawn out on purpose. Does it take away from the drawing?

@Jamie Thank you!

@Matsui Haha XD I could try those colours.

I tried to colour Viviette:
Her colour scheme was tricky. And I am aware of the style difference between the eyes, hair, and clothes.
Again, still in experimental state.

Alright I need to update this thread.
I always feel like I taken a few steps backwards each time I start drawing after a not drawing for a while....

Here's new, recent, and redraw drawings:

Some of the Tiuruh Family Generation and their back up Siloete helper,

- Rayude Tiuruh and his sister Vixya
- Rauta Tiuruh and her brother Coyto
- Berch

These next characters are from another story of mine, which was based on a club that was made up in elementary school. The story itself wasn't finished, but I did write and finish a side story based around Valentines.

In part of the story they go to a party, and hence I tried drawing them in their party wear:

- Mirax Rougemar
- Sara Feretta
- Mina Fallward
- Crystal Aliston

Hm hmm  :hmm: If I had to guess what these kind of characters are from appearance alone then...

Rayude: The typical male protagonist and feels as if he's the only sane one amongst his friends. "I'm surrounded by bakas" would be a common catchphrase  :glare: But deep down he loves his friends and considers them family.

Vixya: Confident and full of spirit. Though she yearns for adventure, she probably has a hidden passion for books. Definitely tries to drag Rayude along on her antics.

Rauta: Mature, reserved and tough on the outside. Acts like a mum to the group, and probably backs that up with her intimidating glares. Has a secret crush on Rayude.

Coyto: Small guy, looks up to everyone and wishes to be as great as them. Although introvert, he always tries to push himself to impress his friends.

Berch: Berch is just berch. A leaf in the wind, a ripple in the water. Aloof and strange, he is unfazed by what goes around him, but it gentle and sweet when approached.

I love the names, how do you get such awesome names for characters??? The art itself is good too, though Coyto and Rauta look rather similar to me... maybe try indulging in more unique male hairstyles.

The second picture is too faint for me to see XD

Sasuga, Ginger XD You didn't disappoint my expectations. You hardly read what I wrote, eh? XDDD

Those characters for their specific story never appear in the main cast and they're all cousins. At most they appear as support.
Nice try guessing at their personalities.

Their names are even strange to me. Just use your imagination if you want to make your own XD
Did you mean Rayude and Coyto's hairstyles?

Second picture too faint - *lends magnifying glass to Ginger*

How dare you. Do you know how rude that w- OH MY GOD A SQUIRREL!!!
*Ahem*

Support characters can be quite elaborate if you are going for a snowflake cast  :thumbsup: Normally I just try naming my characters with google translate of things they represent.

*Uses magnifying glass*

Awwww, they're so small. Love the doggie! Wan wan!

Your female hairstyles are much better, definitely more stylised. Though that is anime in general, lots of unique female appearances, and pretty cliched male one  ::) The art style seems different. Or is it that they're just not shaded in?

*shakes head in nostalgia* *shoots squirrel*

Can't do that, that's a rather bland way of doing things. You can't expect your child to grow up to his name O_O
Although for those character, I did base their names off canines (cause I love dogs) but that's as far as those go.

It's a .... wolf....
Your magnifying glass does not deceive though. That is my Ekodomo style!!! (Echo-domo...e-kodomo....)
JK. It's a failed attempt at doing chibi. They didn't get chibified enough, so they became kids  :tongue:

Boy hairstyles that I like are limited. Cause like....I'm a girl...
