I thought about this thread I tend to come up with ideas that I know would never see the light of day because I just don't have the time to write out every story idea my scattered brain comes up with. Just last night I started envisioning a young girl prompting a grumpy old sword master to train her how to fight because she inherited an ancestral blade but had no skills.  The man was real quick to try to turn her away till she begged him saying she wanted her sword to be an extension of herself a new limb. It impressed the old master but he warned her training would not be easy and wanted to know why? She of course is the last of her clan and heard stories of her grandmother who was a rare female sword master who helped repel invaders.  With the country at war currently she wishes to learn to fight and bring an honorable title back to her name. 

Id love to write this story out but with all the other projects that have higher priority I just don't see it happening and coming up with the Ancestral house and blade and all of that would never be done the justice Id like to see for the story. So if anyone wants to use this feel free to and you can pm me if you want any ideas bounced around to.

Uuu! I got one!

All guys in highschool are fighting over a beautiful girl, there are so many of them that they decide to organize the fighting into a tournament. The battles happen in the school patio after class hours, the champion will receive the "prize" girl.

The main character is a lazy bum that loves a good fight, and joins the tournament with no other intentions besides kicking some ass. However, he starts hanging out with the "prize" girl and falls in love with her as well.

there are two worlds separated by a plane force field mirror so neither one knows the other exist, the first world is our world as we know it and the second world is the monsters world it is a brutal, barren, horrible place where the only rule is eat or be eaten, but for some reason ( you decide ) the plane force field mirror begins to dissolve and monsters for the first time monsters can travel to earth very soon a world wide invasion will take place .Your main character will be a boy who was accidentally affected when the plane force field mirror dissolved and transformed into a 1/3 human 1/3 wolf 1/3 bird monster ( hes human most of the time except when he gets angry) he will be your hero and i leave the rest to you.

I don't need to give away my story to work on as I have the story in my mind but I want anybody to hear it. My story is titied Samurai Super Star. It's about samurais but takes place in the present, starting in 2012 (Year of the Dragon). Two twin brothers, Sakuri and Sukari Keneiyu have live in a new home in Tokyo with their parents after the disaster that forced them to move out to Tokyo. While in Tokyo, they met their old friends, 7 of them, which eventually found two swords and are given by them as they were told by 7 others who are dragons from the Sengoku period reincarnated into humans that they are chosen as samurai heroes to protect Japan with elemental powers of water, ice, nature, fire, earth, lighting and wind. They faced aganist America's milltary which now made up of teenage soldiers who are genetically enhanced who are becoming corrupt due to their immaturity and beliefs that America is the superior country. They easliy defeated everry country who step up to oppose them. Though the twins have no problem fighting them at the start of a war between America and Japan, they now face trouble when two American soldiers, James Washington and Jack Wolfen have begin fighting them who are the first friends to the twins since childhood.

There are pairings which is only a younger boy/older girl releationship. Sakuri with a older girl named Kokoro Inoru, a quiet girl who is a popular singer in Japan and have become friends to the young samurai as she is lonely.

I think ideas, have been shared over the centuries just because we all live in the same galaxy.
So here is an Idea

A young women came from a warring planet, to ours and gives birth to child. Passing away she leaves child in the guardian ship of an elderly couple. Growing up in an arm town, clarksvill TN . She grows up to the age of 16 never knowing about her heritage until one along with other stranger, a trouble officer and rebellious teen. To a planet dominated by the Regis, who are the people responsible for the death of her real father, King Ering. Lin and her two companions must travel, and defeat the regios along with the help of the famous warriors of her father kingdom, and rebels of cratos. As well as find the one way for them to return home.

rough I know but their you go, just so you know I originally planned for the girl to be african-american

I challenge anyone to write a kickass story with a doe as the main character. No Bambi-style stuff, either, none of that soft, simple and yet powerful drama. No, I'm talking full on action, comedy, adventure, and lots of it! Do whatever you want with the plot, but it must - I repeat, MUST - follow those guidelines.

I wrote only 5 total pages with this idea and i will let someone else use it because it is worthless to me now.

A young boy is cursed to be the "Slayer of all People." He wanted to become a police officer and that clearly didn't happen, anyways is parents never tell him he is cursed and he kills them too. He never ages after 21. (i personally think he would do better without a girl but since i don't want this idea you can change it.)

With all due respect, this thread is a little stupid. Making a thread to post story plots just makes any story you develop from that idea unoriginal. It also can lead to law suits if that manga/story becomes popular and makes a profit. Anyways, that's my two cents. But who gives a [p]uck.

I get the feeling that most people think that you can sue if you use an idea, that not yours, and make a profit. Wrong ideas cannot be copyrighted. In California, and most other places, a law has been past that states that you have to have a NDA. The only other way is if they stole finished scripts.

Well I think it is more about a pride thing... personally as a writer, I would not feel satisfied by taking someone else Idea, I just wouldn't feel that "accomplishment" feeling you get when you achieve something. Even if I would put days working on that idea that isn't mine, I would still feel unsatisfied, like if it wasn't truly my work... Well for those reasons I just can't do that... I wouldn't mind putting some ideas here, but knowing everyone would most likely ignore it... I won't, lol.
