is it worth the buy??
« on: February 12, 2012, 06:27:09 PM »
So I find it MUCH better to sit down and read a manga then to look at it online. So im wondering...
Is bleach worth the buy? What do you think?

well you have to take into account that bleach is several dozen books deep at this point. if you really love bleach enough to spend that kinda money. then sure. if not. wouldn't go for it.

well if i can find a volume used it's like 4 dollars. and they hold a pretty high standard for their used manga. though if it's new it's still full price.

Yeah i'm pretty much in the same boat in every case. No hope of collecting manga like that, but i buy all novels second hand and slowly over time. Usually at the end of the month in bulk.

I have been buying the book collections slowly. I waited for many series that way after my sailor moon collecting. Back when Id have to go for months on a cliff hanger lol (though im currently doing that with spice and wolf  :( ) I say it will be worth it if you wait till the final arc is done and get the book collections it puts many chapters together in hard cover form and its a great collectors item.  So far I have four of the books two are special side editions but worth having.
In my mind there are thousands of stories all waiting to be told to others.

I think overall I've paid around 50 euros to manga books, and I currently own eight volumes of manga. Of course, these are a few of the most well-known (two Naruto, two Fairy Tail, three FMA and one DBZ), but still. It's quite expensive.
Bros with Legomaestro since 2010. I think.

well that's fine and good to get them read but it's equally important to support the mangaka if you enjoy the series. it's why i strive to own at least the first volume of every manga i read/have read.

Yeah it's definitely nicer to read from the books instead of burning your eyes through computer screen ;3. My friend found 2 legend of zelda books for $3-4 each and bought them. I read them and it is much better looking than a computer screen.
