I'll stick with romance/comedy/ecchi/horror/drama. for now.
Aaah, those bully/end of the world stories

Well, what I haven't heard of anti-twilight comments  8) (Am I a masochist for finding comments/spoofs/jokes/etc 'bout Twilight funny?) Whatever *_* The point is - comments are always (...) about the series/books and not about/to the person :3

I understand people have different veiws on anime/manga. Even I have titles I dont like. Its just people do not understand the story or try to behind some of them. And I never said you had to like every anime/manga series and you are entitled to your opinion. Just dont go around throwing things around you dont even know.

The point is... Who is throwing things around? O_o?

Also most ppl here on MR are Artists, writers and even creators of their own original series, so they know how to "dissect" (in lack of a better word) a history to see it's flaws and everything. We wouldn't just throw a history away without analyzing it.

As some of you may have read, if you read my welcome post, you would probably fit me under this. I don't have to say which I do and don't like but that is my preference, almost immediately I am normally bogged by the lover of that particular anime/manga why that person likes it and why I should like it. Cult-religious-like. Am I a basher? I find that these types of deals are common amongst all forms of art media.
but even I've seen Inuyasha on and been mesmerized at the ability to suck me in and become the story, for that one episode. I've been through enough books to find that I've got a preference. Bashing sucks, it influences alot of people's opinion. What's worse is when these people begin to take offence to this harassment and find themselves attacking people or friends about stuff they love. But in the same ideological since that comes with all kinds of territory, clothes, style, likes, dislikes. It's up to you to determine whether or not you will be upset at these simple gestures of dislike. I doubt anyone is going to stab you because you like Naruto, just silently judge you. Judging only hurts you if it's true.

Each and every individual have a preference, each anime can be dissected for a reason or another and found a good piece of information. Like Boboboboboboajsdofijalsdkfjal or w/e. What was good about that? Well you got me, but there was something people found they liked about it, it was on for a year. Just be open minded and try to loosen your sphincter a bit.

well i havent really met much 'bashers' in general but i have met those hypocrites that say a certain manga/anime is gay/stupid/etc. and they end up reading/watching it and get addicted or something similar

I actually really like alot of anime series mainly cause the ones I watch are so cheerful and my younger brother says he hates them but I see him early in the morning watching anime on the TV

I have to say that I just hate it when I'm at school and people ask me if I like something and I say yes/no or I say I like ____ and they pretend to know all about it and say it's awesome but they don't even know the first thing about it, like the main characters name...then there are those who have only made the generalization that they don't like naruto/bleach/one peice/deathnote andthat means all anime/manga is "stupid" or "retarded" or...well, you get the idea... that's just one of my biggest pet peeves when somebody says something about anything, good OR bad and they don't know what they're talking about.  :push:
I'm just glad someone agrees
