So what would your back up weapon be? doesnt matter what it is but what weapon would you choose to keep with you when your main weapon is no longer an option?

If my main weapon was a sword...then maybe a dagger, or two of them.

Due to discovering the laws of not being able to carry around weapons in my country, I'm gonna change my back up weapon to my deadly body, fists, knees, elbows, forehead, anything that could possibly be a lethal weapon, if you know what I mean.

Litt, heres some stuff to add to your arsenal of deadly strikes:

phoenix knuckle, its a fist form used in animal style kung fu, possibly other styles, anyways its pretty damn deadly if you go for : eyes, temple, throat (strike with the index fingers second knuckle)


also theres the leopard paw palm strike used in leopard style that can target the throat, nose, and solar plexus for a deadly blow (also used for rapid punches striking with the area inbetween second and third knuckle [these can be aimed inbetween ribs and at pressure points for massive damage])

(yes this is all from research i did for Chione's fighting style)

Whoa, well I already figured I'd just improvise how to fight, everyone has their own style, I've gotten mine down, not the most efficient, but it works well enough to keep me alive.

Kung fu flicks, watch them. As a Chinese child, I was exposed to these and consider them very normal, and due tot he wide array of movies I've watched I can imagine a bunch of different fight scenes in my head. Jackie Chan is responsible for most of that though, only movies my parents could get their hands on when I was a kid. :laughing11: You don't need a back-up weapon when your main weapon is dragon fist! Or snake fist! Crane style! HYAA!

true, Chione wouldnt really need the daggers she carries since well, shes awesome... but you need something reflective in the Chimera world, so she carries daggers just to increase her level of awesome

as to the kung fu movies, IM SO FREAKING JEALOUS!!! i never got to watch many as a kid, and now that i do want to see them i don't know which ones to go get O_o

The ones I watch now are usually in Cantonese with subs (Cause I'm not fluent in Cantonese and I know 5 words in Mandarin) but I enjoy them, I could find some for you if you want, or just tell you which kinds would work for battle scenes best. Chinese kung fu movies are much better since you see more counters rather than hit, counter, hit again, hit, etc. Search up movies like Wong Fei Hung ones, or Drunk Fist, some other Chinese movies Jackie Chan or Jet Li did in the past, they're all pretty good.
