I just bought manga pen nibs and want to test this baby out. Problem is, I suck at story writing... i can't get a full idea with complete beginning, middle and end. All I have unfinished comics in the past.

I don't really know what to draw rn. Things I've (tried to make) in the past:


1.) Oneshot about a hikkikomori who's trying to kill himself, but can't, because of some cute, magic, annoying, genki girl grim reaper waifu that suddenly came out of nowhere and keeps preventing his death.

2.) Hikkikomori-san to Karoshi-san, a comedy manga about an overworked office worker and a chill doujin hentai artist as roommates

3.) Akashi's Art, a 4-koma parody of Kuroko's Basketball, where the GoM are chibi waifus and their basketball skills were translated into art club skills

If you're struggling to come up with a story...you could always do illustrations instead to test out your equipment

I'm not great with stories either so can't help you there I'm afraid XD

Maybe try and start with the ending of a story and work back? i.e. what sort of endings in stories do you like? if it's a romance, the couple get together, fantasy, the evil is defeated etc.

yes you indeed have to upload to an image hosting site, Imgur is quite popular at the moment.
Imgur (and most image sites) have a forum BBCode link that is generated automatically for you (with the [img] parts), you just have to copy and paste it when you make a post here.
