What's up, amateur artist here!
« on: July 21, 2022, 03:03:02 AM »
Hello everyone! my name is Rune Snow, but u can call me Rune.
just incase this is needed, my pronouns are (he/him)

I am an aspiring manga creator with alot of stupid unfinished stories piled up on my pc (i can't seem to finish anything so bear with me here ^^') BUT definitely working on one of them since my motivation has been violently rekindled by extremely interesting animes. (mainly shonen..)

I'm 17 years old and have been drawing since 2014 and started learning animation in 2016, i'm not the most professional artist since i'm self taught, so i've come here mainly for critique and help, so don't be shy to give criticism about my drawings since it'll definitely help me out! wether it's a short comment pointing out a small mistake or a whole 10 page essay, anything helps!

Now that's out of the way, let's talk about my hobbies.

I am an addicted gamer and major music fan, and also very addicted to anime and reading manga and novels, like, i straight up spend my allowance on graphic novels or manga's the moment i have that darn cash in my bank, i should not have access to money.

Anddd that's about it! if u have any questions u can ask me here! but i'll mention this from now, i will not mention where i live to avoid issues, since people have a negative impression of my country, thank you for reading this far!

quick note: english is not my first language, so apologies for any grammar mistakes ^^

Welcome to MangaRaiders Rune! I look forward to seeing what you create!

We never ask people to reveal personal details they don't want to. But we pride ourselves on being open minded folks, so I like to think we're all smart enough to not judge the people of a nation by the actions of their government (they are so rarely related). We're not a judgy place, and will only weigh you on the basis of your personal actions. But that being said no pressure to reveal anything. It's your right to keep that to yourself if you want.

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

welcome to the forum!
Looking forward to seeing some of your art!
I used to be a lot more addicted to manga and anime, but since shifting into drawing more art I have less time to read and watch stuff I like /(T_T;)\

And ahahaha we all relate to having lots of unfinished stories! But being able to finish even just one of them can be a major achievement, so I recommend giving that a shot when you can :D

Hello Rune,

I look forward to seeing your work.  I know you mentioned getting into animation, is that something you are also looking to work with, or will you just be sticking to still art?

Having a lot of story ideas can sometimes be a hassle.  How I complete my stories is to think of where and how I want that particular story to end.  I can look at the beginning of the story and the end and decide what kind of challenges should the character face while trying to reach their goal.

Hello Rune! Welcome to MR!

Can relate to the unfinished stories and especially to spending money on manga when I can ahahaha.

What games do you like to play?

Hope you enjoy your time here!
