Is anyone playing Genshin?
« on: June 17, 2022, 01:03:47 AM »
I'm try'na decide whether I should continue playing the game or not. I just made an account and it seems there'll be a rerun of Yoimiya next patch. I don't know if that's enough time to save up 28k primogems. Not to mention, I'm also playing Honkai Impact, GetAmped, and some online chess. Playing two gacha games at once seems kinda redundant (and a huge time sink in addition to the already huge timesink that is watching anime/reading manga/looking at memes).

Hello Tenori o/

For the 2.8 update? That's scheduled for July, right? Depends on how much time you're willing to spend on getting those primos? If you just started, then it might be possible. Lots of things that can give you the extra primo too. But if you're juggling Genshin with other games, then I guess it would be up to what you prioritize more among them all.

I mostly play the game for the story. Sometimes for the characters (like how I was trying to pull for Xiao but didn't prepare  ahead of time asdlkfajlsdf). Which server are you on btw?

You got me there...
I think reading manga has been half the cause of my slump to be honest :/
I've played a couple of gatcha games over the years and most of the time it keeps reminding me that if I could draw half good art I could make my own gatcha game lol
Ultimately there's only so much time in the day and at some point, you've gotta prioritise something at the cost of something else (-_-;)

Truly though, your current art definitely surpasses a lot of the gotcha games I see adds for, lol. Suuper if you just had some more finished characters you'd be raking it in, lol

you think so huh? I can't say I've seen too many games so I've probably only seen the high level super-popular ones.
That gives me a glimmer of hope for getting a manga style game out there :D
But true gotta get some finished artworks out there. I will definitely, some day!

:hmm: Oooph, how little is precious little?

If you're okay with taking it in small bites, then... yes.....? Somes parts do involve grinding. I'm pretty sure I've spent over 21 hours a week (3ish hours a day) on it, mostly to farm materials to level up my characters and weapons. But I find the story is interesting. And there's a lot of different areas to unlock and explore (+2 more hours hunting for every little treasure chest cough cough). But it might take a while to get through the game if played occassionally.

Hm, maybe precious enough I might just wrangle up a story play through on YouTube. Any more these days I get home after work and have to spend all evening doing chores. Between the dog, cooking and eating dinner, and exercise, it leaves me a lot less than I used to have when I didn’t have a dog, didn't work out, and ate any ol' garbage that came in a cardboard box, lol

Oh, the things we do to stay healthy as we age  :sadbye:
