Get gud drawings ;D!! Honestly, I'm a sucker for waifus, I see a cute girl on a chapter, fine, I'll check your work.

This is the main reason why I can't write anything; I always want one illustration added per chapter (which takes time). Farthest I've ever gotten is 5 chapters (oof), I'd be lucky to get both a chapter and illustration out in the same month... (now that I think about it, this is probably terrible advice)

well to be fair they say a picture speaks 1000 words, if your title cover gives away the genre and mood of your work it will help to attract those who are into that type of story. Especially if it's a cute girl XD I judge works by their cover all the time :P

@Grenadier have you already written your story? It will be hard to improve it if you have already written the whole thing as that may involve chopping things out that you have written.

engaging with writing communities and your audience will help in getting more well known as well. You need to be where your audience is looking.

As Suuper implied, sharing it with people and getting critical reviews will be the best method for actually improving the work itself. You can't be afraid to change your mind on things and do rewrites after receiving feedback.

But we can't help unless you share your story with us! I suggest making a topic for it, letting us see it, and asking pointed questions about the things you're less than confident about.

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF
