Hey, I'm new here, how's it going people

Hi, my name's Seth, or Gubbs, don't really have much of a preference. I'm a 21 year-old guy from Humboldt county in California, and I found this place by google searching for manga artist communities. Although I do have experience with art, I've been at writing and storytelling for much longer, and am more comfortable in that area. I aim to improve at doing both in tandem in order to visually convey some of the ideas I've got floating about. I also really enjoy board sports (skate, surf , snow), street art, and watching horror movies of varying quality with friends.
As for some of my favorite manga/anime I enjoy either action comedies like OPM, Mob Psycho, Gintama, and Scissor Seven (Manhua), or more serious and dark action/adventure stories like Berserk, Vagabond, Vinland Saga, or Claymore. I don't really have any artist or writer friends so I'm looking forward to getting to know you people!
