There was an age of RPs back in the day but due to the sheer flooding of the forum from constant posts it got forbidden haha. Good times.

The best I can offer you is getting into the MR Canon. Right now we're working on the MR War Arc (click on my signature) and there's even a Discord for it. It's a joint writing and sort of RP in a sense project. I guess you know a bit of the MR Verse? I do recall drawing you, and you're in the MR Fighters Division methinks haha.

And yeah, MangaRaiders is forever. People come, people go, but it's gonna be around waiting for you if you want.

You can't kill an an idea! MR will never die as long as you got the occasional fool like us to keep the place going. True enough, we've taken a hit from places like Reddit and Twitter, but we're still around for people looking for a deeper connection.

Specific Recordings put out a Seiko Oomori compilation on record for us Western fans! 

This is a fantastic release, it's 19 songs on two records with tracks from Kentai Shoujo up to her latest album Kintsugi. I'm so happy they included "draw(a)drow" along with my other favorites like "I Kill The Time 4 U", "TOKYO BLACK HOLE", "Shinigami", "GIRL'S GIRL" and "Nostalgic J-Pop". Every Seiko fan would pick 19 different songs for this so I think they did a good job choosing a set of songs that showcase her variety and strengths. In my opinion the only glaring omission was "Imitation Girl" which I would of included over "Kodama ja Nai Mon 17" from the same album. But again everyone would have different picks.

The packaging is nice, the cover is the same as Kintsugi which is a great shot. The records are purple and yellow and there is an insert with two pictures from the Kintsugi booklet. It's awesome that Specific Recordings put this out for us, they also released Haru Nemuri and NECRONOMIDOL's albums on record. I have two of Seiko's albums Sennou and KUSOKAWA PARTY on record so I'm really happy to have another.

Oh man, it looks like I'm hardly the first returning face this year, huh? Must be something in the air.

Anyway, someone give me a TL;DR of the goings-on while I've been away. I want to hear all the drama, the triumphs, and the...just "umphs".

Well let's see.

1. Lots of people coming back.
2. One of those peeps is WhiteCrow, and he's restarting his last big collab.
3. We have a fairly active discord server now. It's not official, but no non-members are supposed to be invited.
4. War Arc is trudging along. We're writing the last story now (now called Defeat). Or rather I'm doing the leg work on Defeat with NO1SY editing, and the roles are reversed for a sentai side story he's writing.

No great calamities have fallen on us recently though. The forum lives on at a somewhat sedate pace, but it's still home for us.

Yeah, I'm used to absolutely going off in discord servers so I feel like I'm taking up a lot of airtime. It'd be great if people were more chatty. I get self-conscious, esp since I've been talking about some semi-personal stuff.

I like seeing it active on MR and on the discord, but I don't contribute much myself as I'm always massively busy with my own projects and chatting can use up a lot of time and be distracting, much like any social media.

ugh I'm struggling getting myself back to normal, my schedule is totally out of whack thanks to work.
almost there now with the sleep and energy but not feeling my normally bubbly self yet.

I feel that. I had a crazy push and work last week. Was in the office until 11pm one night. Absolutely mad.

ouch, that's pretty late work. I'm at a school so that'll never happen for me.

thankfully I'm on holiday now so I'm hoping to make the most of the 7 or so weeks of freedom.

fortunately I can indeed survive the gap. as it happens my pay is the same amount monthly regardless of the actual time spent at work, it's my yearly hours wage / 12

and I live with my parents...so expenses are somewhat minimal all year round, thankfully. Otherwise I doubt I'd be able to do as much art as I do.
