Thanks for watching brotherman. I zoned out for a second there but I was done.

Damn I have no idea how people do streams regularly. I've met the same problem trying to talk while gaming - I'm not able to zone out proper.

I'm still happy with the result though...

Er... I've got to learn how to bring up chat and whatever mid-stream however. I know how to make OBS work but I don't know how to bring up my chat window and face cam and all that jazz even if I wanted to

or a laptop open at the same time. I've seen several streamers so something like that. using a tablet is another option. playing around and googling usually fixes most problems.
well I was soundly asleep so shame I missed that >_<
I don't ever fancy doing a stream ever. It takes a certain kind of person to do that I think :P
hopefully I'll catch one of these one day :P

You just gotta remember to keep talking I suppose. But it's definitely easier for different types of people. I've never done it myself, but I know for as much time I spend jabbering while playing a game, I spend just as much in silence. But I guess it's the audience interaction that makes it interesting to do.

And lel my video got taken down for playing copyrighted music. Right. I never pay attention to that sort of thing. Guess I've got to think of royalty free playlists.

As stressful as it was I want to learn to do it. It's a useful skill to have. Nothing fancy, just want to know the basic setup.

@Suuper the next best thing is the videos you were already posting then. It'd be nice to see more 3d shenanigans, or heck you programming the VN for 1 minute-2 minute vids. Lawd knows MR YT could use the love.

haha @ copyright music you should have known better :P

yeah the 3d is always on my list, I'm working steadily but slowly towards it again, along with some manga pages.
hmmmm never thought to record the VN work. you mean a timelapse talking over the top, or just 2 minutes of work with thinking out loud (the out loud is real)?

I think the thinking out loud could be interesting. There aren't a lot of opportunities to watch the programming process at work.

it's a sad repeat of "okay okay okay. you got this. where was that again? what was that thing...? hey where did....? OH MY DAYS ARE YOU SERIOUS? who did this.....oh me"
Although I don't really pay attention to myself I would also be interested in knowing what my logic sounds like haha

Hahahahaha that works too I guess

You can make it any length you want, but it's interesting how you demolished all problems so far so quickly, and then got in the drivers seat for the programmer that easily. I was gritting my teeth just dealing with how to translate storyscript to programming script because I see the problems as walls rather than interesting puzzles. You seem to see them different? I think? Tell usss.

I'll wager it's mostly how he was already knee deep in programming knowledge, and you were learning a lot from scratch Lego. Don't beat yourself up on it.

that's totally true Coryn it's something I do as another hobby/skill so I'm used to it.
and you did a fantastic job Lego, there's 3-4000 lines of code there all pretty much working. I can't say I would have liked to start this thing from scratch but you've done a LOT of the work for me.

for me programming is just a really complicated flowchart of steps, so you can break down larger steps into smaller ones until they are so simple you can understand them. I can split down my workload generally quite effortlessly either through practice as I've been programming on and off for 15 years now, or just through intuition as I enjoy problem solving as you say.

I enjoy programming as I can see the end result and have the experience to know that it's achievable. so it's easier for me to do stuff with it. kinda like sorting out a really messy room. looks crazy at first glance, but really its a lot of little items which all need to go in a specific place. don't have a place? make one. got a place? great. so it's more of having the time to achieve the level of result that you want.

it's like a different form of writing or art, maybe closer to construction or craft or technology in terms of problem solving and thinking through things.

I had no idea I had these thoughts in my head :P
if I feel like a video I'll make something :P
(remind me who I send MRYoutube videos to?)
