Post about exciting, or boring, dreams you have.

My dreams are super tame. They are always about people or places I know, stuff I like and sometimes the last thing I saw, heard before bed.

Like last night, I listened to In Utero so I had this mutli part dream where all I remember is walking in a field of super tall roses. They all died and Cobain walked out of the fog in his Heart Shaped Box Jacket. Then I suddenly become Krist and cameras/extras appeared as we performed Teen Spirit. I don't know the chords to the post-chorus bit, so even in my dream I was like...aaaaah. We were in the field running around while Dave was on the stage which was lit super orange. After the song I stated In Bloom since it's next on the album but Dave didn't do the drum fill and it made me sad. Kind of disappointed that I got to jam with Nirvana in my dream but we played Teen Spirit and not like Sliver or Breed.

I can't remember any other exciting ones I wish to share, well except the one I mentioned on the show where Elvis Costello was a security guard who told me I couldn't use the washroom all day because I was talking too loud. Then later a bunch of people where in the back and Perfume's "Love The World" came on the radio. I totally flipped out like GUYS THIS IS....THIS IS!

What about you guys? Exciting, or not dreams.

Am I the only one who has fake memories in their dreams?  I'll be with my ex or family members and I'll have a backstory. Then when I wake up I need to remind myself that those things never happened. This keeps happening to me.

Most of my dreams are boring. I hope that someday I'll have that eureka dream that changes everything. It's been like 6 years that I have had a nightmare. At least one that I remember.

I get dreams a lot like that too. Sometimes, though, I end up with a really weird dream that doesn't make sense in context. One time, I had a dream where I let myself get eaten alive for some ice cream. Twice.

the dreams that really piss me off is the ones i have where i find that someone dumped a lot of manga at a flea market where they charge 50 cents a book and well i come home with rare ones, old ones japanese ones, out of print ones and then i wake up and go "i hate my life" cause my town knows the value of manga and will charge more than their original retail price for them,

its continuing what i was saying but its pretty off topic
Spoiler
once argued with the guy at the flea market cause he was charging $100 for a viz big copy of Dragon Ball Z when you walk into coles (our brand of bookstore, not that weird super store you guys have there in the states) and buy the exact same book brand new for $25

I get a lot of dreams where it matches real life, but I suddenly wake up in the middle of things. One time I got up and ate breakfast 5 times in a massive dream-ception. The weird part is that as it kept happening, the gaps between me "waking up" again got shorter.

I'm glad I don't normally remember my dreams because I tend to die in them... (Or have other fears of mine torment me.) When I do have "pleasant" dreams I am usually a different person in a different world. One of my stories', Lunar Legend's, first chapter was based on a dream of mine. (I/Luna got my arm blown off in an explosion there though...)

I swear there used to be like two other threads for this...

Ah well. Last night I had a dream in which I was Franziska and I had these two giant mutated albino rats that I sicked on a police officer one time and killed him. Later, I had been speaking with this guy who was in a redemption program for criminals to enter a law career, and I cringed away from him in my own guilt. That was the most interesting of my dreams last night, although there was one that involved skating and something of an arcade.

Yeah, there were other threads. The two previous ones got merged together if I remember correctly.

Maybe they'll merge this one with them, then. Who knows?

Besides, dream journaling is good for you, according to many quack Jungian sources. Psychology aside, it can be a pretty neat writing exercise.

Update b/c this dream is MR related. Mostly it involved a lot of walking and seeing a lot of pretty places, but it also involved, towards the ends, me performing in an outfit you'd see in like, Witchblade, for a fight scene playing the role of Lewd-tan. At the end of the performance, music played and I absolutely slayed that walk to backstage like a catwalk and heard cheers and had people throwing all sorts of tip money at me. Every step was flawless, and my turn of the head to work the crowd heightened the ambience. It felt like I was in the presence of the divine.

Man, I wonder if I'll ever have a performance like that.

I'm very happy I rarely remember my dreams, because for some reason they tend to be disturbingly weird. About a decade ago I once had this dream.. well it was closer to a nightmare really because it was terrifying i tell you. In this dream I was being chased halfway across my hometown, by a giant pick bunny slipper... and before you start thinking "That's not that weird or nightmare'ish", allow me to explain.

I'm not talking cute pink fluffy bunny slippers. They were pink sure, but that thing had razor sharp teeth like a friggin' shark, and litterally looked like something that came out of H.P. Lovecraft's worst nightmare. It had a face that was so creepy even gremlins would run from it, and kept drooling and foaming from it's mouth. The entire time it chased me, it just kept talking to me with such a demonic voice you'd think satan was speaking to you directly, "Come here so I can rip the flesh off your bones! I will munch upon your corpse!". My shrink says that's just the creative part of my brain, and that it doesn't mean that there's something disturbingly wrong with me. XD Idk about that!

Oh my God my dream just now was amazing.

First I was walking somewhere listening to some made-up Beach Boys album, there was one song with like 3 tempo changes and in my head I was thinking of a review I saw (again not a real thing). It gets fuzzy here but then I was at a mall which was also a school and Kate Bush was my teacher.

The mall was full of small stores, one barricaded with anime figures. Kate then asked me and St. Vincent to hang out with some generic geek so we walked to a comic store. But not one I've ever been in, it was large and busy. This kid was boring and only cared for Marvel stuff.

He picked up a downscaled Hulk hand and me and Annie just left him. We walked back, listening to my phone as the rain poured down. The whole dream was tense like someone was watching me. The piano music got too crazy for us so I changed it to a playlist called "Beats 67-70" but it had a picture of Help on the cover (from 65).

A fake song called "Iced Nuts" played with the Beatles For Sale cover and I skipped it to another fake song called "Can We Go To The Beach". As me and Annie walked a woman in a black jacket was in front of ua. We went down an alley and I was holding my keys. Suddenly I saw my sweater dirty on the ground...but I was wearing it. It was the same one however.

I picked it up and pulled out a duplicate pair of keys. I suddenly couldn't speak, I was trying to yell how we crossed dimensions, then I woke up.

What an amazing plot twist.
