Vagabond - Seriously, find the time to read this. Historical manga definately isn't my forte but it's a pretty impressive work the author did. I found myself get absorbed as it went a long.

Currently actively reading Bleach, Naruto and a fantastic manga called 20th Century Boys.

Also reading but on the back burner as it were:
Air Gear
Berserk
Claymore
Blade of the Immortal (really difficult to find/ refind the place i left off at)

I intend to read One Piece (although its so daunting!) and Akira, as well as Monster and PLUTO which are both by the same guy that did 20th Century Boys.

You guys should be proud of me, only three of the manga i mentioned are yuri (Theyre the ones with the hearts on them.  ;D.....Then again, there is just as much yuri manga than regular manga :( I fail.
