Thanks, guys! The number one inspiration was actually The Letter by the Box Tops. I found it amusing that such a short song could be so popular.

I have no idea what time signature the intro is in, but enjoy these freshly minted Sunday Jams

Very cool track, has a great groove and excellent dynamics. The chorus is great, the song really picks up for it. The solo is awesome and so is the Sabbath like riff at the end of it. The beat change for the last chorus is very effective also.

Thanks Manimal!

It was one of those songs that came out of nowhere like Nose Candy and The Infant's Dream. I'm glad my last song of the year came out good

First song of 2021. And it's out of season.

Flushed the old soundcloud. Slowly moving stuff over to a new one. Here's Summertime Haze again.

I answered someone's challenge to cover a rather obscure Frank Sinatra song called Lily Belle. This is what happened.

Quick guitar tone tone more than anything else. I think I've found the secret to the guitar tone I want for heavier songs

Cool Jam? Yes, it is. Nice riffing on that one and a very solid groove. I like how it moves into the second section, the rhythms are really awesome. I like that variety. The drums kick it up!

The Sinatra cover has a really nice feel. Your vocals fit the song very well, and you give it some grit in the chorus. The sudden explosion at 2:57 was unexpected and excellent. Nice leads also. You made this work in your own style very well. I had to listen to the original to compare. Dude, you basically just made an all new song. One hell of a cover, nicely done!

Ah thanks Manimal! Ironically, I feel Frank Sinatra himself would've hated my version of it. The man had very low regard for Rock music lol But I definitely enjoyed making it and some jazzier material again.

I'm here to post Summertime Haze for the third time because there was something in the previous mix that was bothering me.

Oh wow, a year since I posted, huh? Well I don't have much new stuff to share.

This song sure did go through quite an evolution though

Boy it's been a while...

Was mostly busy finishing up re-writing Death by Ex-Girlfriend, then life took some weird but very fortunate turns and I ended up becoming good friends with some of my favorite streamers, which then led to me making a lot of music for them lol

So, most of these are just instrumentals but I am quite proud of them

Better Off Without You
Very Mai Yamane inspired piece tinged in 70's moodiness

The Light Will Shine On You
Original of mine, one of my personal favorites
https://on.soundcloud.com/qUEwn

Winter Reminiscence
Written as a melancholic Christmas instrumental. This originally had drums and bass with it and sounded more like a ballad, but I soon came to the realization that less is more and ended up with this version

The Gambler
A very fun piece with funky, Latin-tinged rhythms, a cool bass line, harmonic minor guitar harmonies, and lots of energy
