Lineart Workshop

- Use a manga/anime reference image to make digital lineart
- Comment on other posts after your work, and make sure to post the reference used!
- ALL skill levels encouraged! So please take part no matter what level you're at

Note:  We're only interested in the technical lineart skill, so please stick to using references especially from manga and anime

Note: We're going to be commenting on eachothers' works as fellow learners, but those who know how to do this process professionally are asked to give some helpful pointers and tips whenever they can.

For the colouring process and manga in general, the lineart stage is a very important step.

The faster and cleaner it looks, the better you can work on the final pass of your page and image. And there's plenty of need for linework of epic screenshots or manga scenes in manga and anime, so it's a useful skill to learn. Interested? Try your hand out and improve your skill!

Is it better to do it with a mouse or tablet? Pen tool? Which software?

There will be a colouring/toning workshop after this one to see how well the lineart turned out
