Fantastic artworks~

I wouldn't say it's too early for Halloween. The Dollar Store around the block is already selling Hallowing merchandise.

@Robin That's a neat piece! Her body looks so puurrrfect XD

@Vio And by Halloween they'll be selling Christmas stuff.
No one is perfect . . . that's why there's erasers and extra paper.

Yeah around here there are people who decorate for Christmas the day after Halloween, so I'm always like,"What about Thanksgiving Day?" :o

Do you usually draw female characters? Cuz she looks good and if you could help me with female anatomy that'd be awesome! :D

Yeah, although they usually end up looking horrible if I'm not staring at a how to draw book... But I'll help you with what I can...

These are the main characters of my comic.

Klaude
This is the best of the pictures I've drawn of him...

Misty
This was drawn as a full body picture, but I had traced the body so I'm not gonna post the full pic.

Nice artwork.

I like the way you made Klaude's scarf. It looks very dynamic with those shadows.

That other character Mysty... wow, I don't know what that is but... seriously that is quite impressive.

Thank you.  ;D
Misty is a dragon, although she doesn't really look like one with her feathered wings and fur (It's actually long, thin feathers. ;))...

So I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to post this one. She's an original character, but drawn in Code Lyoko's style. (There's a little bit of manga in her too.) Code Lyoko is my favorite cartoon and after that is Danny Phantom.

Was that done in a program or on a piece of paper?

I drew her on a sheet of notebook paper, then used Paint.NET to remove the note lines and the smudges.

Your lines are so crisp.

Serious question...

Can you learn to have a steady hand so you can draw? Or is it something that if you don't have it, you don't have it?

Like when I attempt to draw, I can't draw a good circle for the life of me. I cant draw a straight line either. Am I doomed to never being able to do so?

Hrm... Perhaps, but let me tell you a secret. I wouldn't be able to draw a straight line if two rulers were super glued to the paper. So, I cheat.
A trick I learned when watching my brother one day was to make repeating short light strokes in the general area of where you want to put the line. I then erase the messy lines that go far out of the way and then using my pencil I darken where I decided where the line was, using a back and fourth motion. And the last touch would be to care fully erase around the darkened line so the it looks clean.
This way takes a while but once I started drawing like this, my art greatly improved.
I hope it will work for you.
