Unrealistic Power-ups

I am discussing the latest chapters of the Bleach Manga and how it seems the Shinigami have went through nearly impossible power-ups.
1. Byakuya- As Nodt beat him into a coma and when Byakuya comes back, he turns his back to As Nodt and basically says you're no longer on my level, so Ill let my little sister kill you.
2. Renji- defeated by Masc de Masculine and since Kubo couldnt think of any other reason, he claimed that Zabimaru gave him a fake name because he wasnt worthy of it yet.
3. Kenpachi- the beast incarnate himself. We all saw this powerup coming, but we didn't see it coming the way it did. Kenpachi was already strong, so strong in fact that his opponent was a guy who could imagine anything into existence. It was all going well until a meteor was imagined and Kenpachi's bankai shattered it like a crystal ball( watch out Madara). He then demonstrated just how OP Kubo made him by cutting through space and time. To think a guy with only 3 phrases in his vocabulary( I cut, You cut, You die) could accomplish so much.

what i hate about it is that theres no proper power ups anymore.

Zabimaru's "Fake name" was really stupid. Did we even understand what exactly Renji's "true" bankai does? it did nothing similar to its previous. If it retained anything similar to that snake like ability along with the skeleton gorilla hand, it would've made sense.


Byakuya demonstrated no power.

Kenpachi's weapon is ridiculous, and even how he beat him was stupid. ripping space was more of an excuse. kubo has really lost his edge during the aizen battle.....he's running on steam atm.

Exactly. Also, what are all the lieutenants doing right now and it'll only get worse once Aizen returns. It seems like anybody who was really strong in Soul Society were all carrying toys compared to what the swords can really do.

P.S.- this does not apply to Shunsui, Yamamoto,Toshiro, and Unohana

Hahaha gotta love kenpachi cutting through space time.

And it's not quite on topic but i think the quincies in general... what the heck? I thought you guys were archers! All I see is space magic here! One dude imagines anything and everything (which is by all rights supposed to be more of a cheat than Kyouka Suigetsu, but nope, he got defeated by a brute). The other causes fear but apparently you can't cause fear to someone who has frozen themselves or something.

kubo has a lot to answer for

yeah, the quincies too. I've seen one of them use a bow and he was the one who got one-shotted by Yamamoto.   
im gonna erase that Rukia fight from memory, but with the way it's going Uryu is gonna hold his bow up and scream:BANKAI

Ishida fight. Oh please, make an angsty fight involving Ishida. So far it looks like Kubo is avoiding the truly tense fights. Mayuri vs Ishida grudge match now please! Or Ishida vs. any of the shiningami and taking them out. Or... Ishida vs Ichigo.

Anyhow with all these unrealistic power ups, I think his excellency Bach will wipe the floor with everything including the floor itself

I want to see Uryu take on Toshiro or Byakuya. And when is Kyoraku going go own him some quincies while Ukitake takes on Bazz B
