Hey all,

Pretty new here; been lurking on and off for awhile, and decided to jump right in with some artwork.  My "style" isn't straight-up manga, which has made me hesitate to share it here, but while I straddle the line, I like to get feedback from manga readers, because I think its closer to my sensibilities than western comics (at least the mainstream).  Anyway, here's a few recent pieces for you, feel free to critique, and thanks for looking,

Nice drawings, really nice! I especially like the rabbit samurai one!  Your art has that chinese art feeling. You have talent, real nice anatomy too!

Thanks!  Just finished the Moon Rabbit the other day; he's a character from both Asian and Aztec folklore.  In China he's the Jade Rabbit, hence the green.

Not a concern for me, just didn't want to clash with the culture of the board, which I'm not all that familiar with.  This kind of stuff:*link removed* is what I would post in the non-manga section, though its not really the type of work I want feedback on.

Oops; sorry.  It was an oil painting of my daughter; I studied art more traditionally in college, and still do a small amount of that kind of work.  Not a big deal, glad that you like my work.

Thanks, man; much appreciated.  I like onemanga, but the art forums there have a lot of crickets chirping.  I'm hoping to connect with more creators here; this site seems more geared that way.

i dont know noting about that kind of comics style
but i think the eyes should not be that far from each other...
it just doesnt looks right to me.

Yeah, that's definitely "pushed" (the eye width)... I like to exaggerate in that direction, but need to find a better balance, I think.

I truly think your art style is awesome, also manga doesn't really have to be that "general manga style" anyway, lot's of manga artist now days have very stand out style, so I think you're fine, don't hesitate, I love to see more
