Day 47: my longest sketch in this streak so far. really went to town on the details. nearly died of the cuteness overdose :P
hands still not quite right...I might have an idea on how to improve that if I increase the quality of the first iteration, we'll see for next time.

the drafting program sounds cool, I'm coding my own art program as well actually, to make some of my workflow more efficient but it wont give me such massive gains :P But then again I've nearly maxed out my speed gauge XD

2.5 minutes per page draft sounds very fast indeed, while being fast isn't a bad thing make sure you're not going so fast you're missing quality or details ahahaha XD
although I assume you just mean the basic layout sketch?

That's why this time round I'm committing to carrying on the daily challenge as it will have very good long term benefits for a small time cost.
I think the one day break becoming a one week break, becoming a one month break is the pitfall I hit several times, mostly because you simply just don't notice the passage of time when your focus is on other things. You look back and go "has it really been that long???!!"

Thanks! If you draw every day and for several hours a day then you'll easily surpass my level in just a few years! I've taken it far too slow XD

As for your question the general idea is to draw every day, saving up sketches in advance would be the same as posting "old work"
For actual emergencies or illness you get a pass for the days you can't do it, but for just a busy day I don't think you'd get a pass for that. I mean I had a hella busy day yesterday I was out of the house 6am to 9pm and I still posted something even though the quality was low. So even a 5 minute sketch is ok

Otherwise I could just draw 1000 sketches in a week and not have to draw for a few years while I still post every day XD

yup UK here myself as well.
@wild from what I've seen global companies conform to the standards (even culture etc) in each country so the operations will vary. For want of a better phrase, they'll get away with whatever they can. (paying only the minimum wage for example when some countries have a higher minimum wage than others) (apparently the macdonalds in japan make perfectly assembled burgers for another random example)

you can always buy a couple of small cheap things first to get used to using it

Day 45: trying out new brush settings for a sketch style. not sure if the settings are wrong or it's just my pen control isn't enough to use it properly...
doesnt help that the sketch is <1000px resolution. I'm slowly upping most of my projects to use higher resolution as that often looks better without any effort.

it's definitely hard to get popular/rich/famous even on those platforms, but at least you can get a foot in the door a lot easier so people can see your work. I plan to do it at some point, but I'm mostly in it for the fun of it
