I've always wondered how you find the bulk practice method and how you feel it works for you? I've noticed a few people drawing hundreds of things on here, using that method.

Granted everyone had different learning methods in every aspect of life that work for them best, so curious.

I use the perfect practice method myself. That works best for me.
No bulk drawing ever. All practice must involve learning something new. Strictly avoid repetition where possible.

I'm not a big reader. So I won't do a script review. Many others for that here who are good at that.
When, you get to the art stage I'll be keen.

However at first glance of the post itself, I'd definitely give this a shot if it was a description for a comic/manga.

Also kinda dig the art direction.

Hope you progress further. Got my interest with this one.

I have to agree on the balanced proportions. Not bad at all. Solid start :)
Line weight is something you could look into, to see some fast improvements :)

Have a grey cat and a dog.
Two washing machines, because that's success in life.
Get so good at my job it's a breeze and refuse promotion because I don't want extra stress.
Finish my comic in my free time. Learn to make the perfect baked cheesecake. Be able to play moonlight sonata on a piano.
When I retire help other people with art projects.
Yeah :D

There's nothing wrong with not going pro, even if you have the ability to. What matters most is that you're enjoying yourself. If you're drawing or writing just for the love of the game, more power to you. That's the official MR word.

Do it for the love of it. For sure :D

As spam goes, I was much more entertained this morning than the usual! But they need an “Ultimate Saviour” for their grammar

This should really work its way into Canon somehow :sure:

Ahh, there's nothing to start a day of moderating quite like deleting posts from a guy requesting 200k to join his cult.

Was waiting for that xD haha

My friend, I draw 35 hours a week work 40 plus. Ain't got no more time hahaha

No being real. Pro is off the table. Its just for fun, I am very aware of my cards. I love to be supportive of others though :)
So what is the issue?
I did 1 quarter of life drawing in college and after 1 quarter of 9 hr/day I went from low grade stick men to low grade photo realism.
I never visualized before this so having images pop in my brain was disconcerting. So that was it for drawing for me.
Those flashes are now gone and all I know image wise is text.

I do consider sitting down and learning to manga at pro/acceptable level. Probably take at least a year.
I would hate that year so much. Endless drawing and suffering.
I remember the trucker who volunteered at the anime room..  Old school Kishiro beats his quality (and everyone elses) so does Old school Otomo.. Not many other do though. He had time on the road to do this is my guess. Just a guess.

If you are still drawing big eyed unicorns and Bratz dolls after a year riding the graphite, the problem is you. Start getting super critical of your work and keep working on the issues. It hurts but grind it out.
this is why great artists are always torn between loving and hating their own work.

What is the problem?
Maybe I don't want to :/ I enjoy doing what I do and encouraging others.
But thanks I guess?

Plus pro-level in at least a year. You must be very very talented. I definitely could not do that. Its a shame you don't want to.

Goodluck with whatever you do then.

Doing pretty good in the kitchen then! Most of my food is definitely American in style, but unlike so many Americans I at least know when and how to use spices, lol. Big props for tackling two of the more tricky cuisines though! All of my "Italian" food would make a real Italian wince, haha.

Oh I hear good things about American food. Never been there so can't really say I know it well. We have the big new York pizzas, how genuine they are I do not know xD

Not an artist for hire, just wishing you luck with your project!

New Zealander here. I said enough. Lucky islanders.

Thanks all :)
I'm actually super good atm. If anything the condition just put the fear in me which is why I feel I need to draw so much xD
Never know how long things gonna last. Life is crazy right!

Also forgot to mention: big fan of Italian and Thai cooking xD I'm a noob but I enjoy it!

I don't really update about myself really.

Well. 40 plus hours a week in accounts related work, it's been stressful recently due to June being our end of financial year. I gym very regular because I have a muscle condition. Losing muscle strength causes me to have various issues, main scary thing is trouble breathing and controlling nerves.
But that's been with me a very long time. Surgeries and weird physical therapy history there.
I control it well.
I am the resident House chef and then I try draw xD
I manage about 35 hours a week because I go hard. Though, a lot of it is trash... But trash is still productivity I suppose.

I am proud of my ability to motivate myself. I lack any kind of dream or Aspirations with art though. I don't think that matters, just to draw is enough for me. :)

It feels like running maximum speed to a single destination for no reason xD I guess its my weird quirk.

I enjoy watching other people tackle their own projects :>

Things are pretty good really. I guess.
