It's a pretty helpful feature.

I don't know if Hasith is already aware of this or not, but I stumbled across it and thought it'd be neat to post it here.
It's a SMF mod that auto-embeds Youtube links in a post. Pretty cool little feature. It'd be nice for the "What are you listening to" thread.

Oooooh, you went to ACEN?
I'm pretty jealous; a friend of mine goes to ACEN pretty frequently, I'd love to go.
See any particularly good panels while you were there?

I'm starting the second season now and they made it 100x more Code Geass than season one.
I still need to be convinced, but the end of last season was pretty great, so I think it might be promising.

For such a huge Gundam nut, I put off 00 for so long.

Started watching it after my exams and honestly, I thought it sucked.
That is, right up until now. I just finished the first season, and that last arc was an emotional storm. It only took them 20 episodes to bother giving any of the bridge characters actual characteristics but damn. Gotta watch the second season now...

Anime Talk / Re: recommend a good fantasy action-adventure?

If you're looking for an anime, then Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle is one of my favourite action/adventures of all time. I'm a big CLAMP fan, so it goes without saying. I prefer the manga to the anime, but it's really still well done.

And you've said you've seen the mainstream already, but I'm going to go ahead and recommend Sword Art Online in-case you haven't seen it on the off chance. SAO is another big favourite of mine, and I went in expecting a .//Hack clone (surpassed my expectations in the best way). The light novel is worth reading as well; I've only read as far as Alfheim because Bakareader isn't working on my phone anymore, but it was as much quality as the anime or possibly more.

I haven't watched all of Deltora Quest, but those books were a good-sized portion of my childhood and I heard the anime was very much worth it.

A lot of fun going through all of these again. And the new stuff is equally great (I'm digging Tomoko).
