Develop Your Story / Making a manga. Need help.

My friend and I are trying to make a manga. He's writing and I'm drawing. The story is done but we need help coming up with a gripping and interesting first volume/ episode. Anyone interested in helping can message me so I can tell them the story and hear their input. If the advice is good and my friend and I agree we would be happy to mention them in the creation process( such as who helped create or write)

The name's Joel. Im 19 and I've been drawing ever since I watched the first episode of Dragon Ball Z when it aired. My favorite manga is Fairy Tail. My favorite anime is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I'm very passionate about drawing and I'm working on a manga. I hope to eventually post the pages on here once I've finished the story completely. I also accept constructive criticism.
