For those who don't know what a Switch Around is, it's a fun collaboration project between 3 or more artists in which each artist exchanges their artwork after different stages. The most common stages are: Sketch-line-colour.

Members Workshops / Facial: Emotion and Expression Exercise

A simply workshop exercise base on practising facial emotions and expressions. The way this will work is an artist will draw one of the three emotions/expressions left by the previous artist. When done, the artist will post their result on this workshop and select three emotions/expressions for the next artist to draw

Depending on how well this topic does, I might make a point system and leaderboard. Hopefully, this might help encourage those who are practicing to tackle new challenges and persist their way up the leaderboard.

To start this topic, I have made an attempt to draw a smile. Normally I draw traditionally and then trace my work over digitally. But to improve my skill I simply just went straight to digital.

Welcome to Vio's Visual Novel Pet Project!

This will be a pet project of mine that focuses on MR with certain events happening in the world. No name has been given to this projects as of yet.

As a start-up project, the focus will be on how the world looks and its function. So, Phase One will be the rough designs of how the MR world functions base on the lore material, thoughts and opinions.

My first area to focus on will be the MR Pub. I have asked the community how the Pub should be portrayed both exterior and interior before, and I still welcome any new thoughts or ideas into the development of the Pub. As the development goes, I'll post rough drafts here for thoughts and opinions about its design and, hopefully, reach an agreement on its final draft.

For example, these two are/were rough drafts of what I envision the Pub building shape to be back in the day.

Suggestions And Feedback / Can MR Have Its Own Board?

I was wondering if it's possible for MR to have its own personal board, or even a child board, for those who want to make stories, artworks, collabs., and cannon about MR and its people. MR is now 10 years old and has accumulated a rich history which both Raiders and Mods show through their choice of medium, but it can be a struggle to search through all the stories to find MR related content or check every single page of an artist's topic to fine MR related images.

So, I was wondering if it's possible for MR to have it's own board, or child board, for both artist and writers to share their MR related content.

With the callout, I'm looking into reviving the RP story, Mod-Kingdom, a story base on the adventure of Mods and Raiders exploring the MR World and seeking to become to knew future ruler!

Here's the quick bit of the idea:

This story takes place in a magical fantasy realm. The human race lives under the rulers of Grand King, Hasith; and Grand Queen, Corycaly. Peace and prosperity has been held within their grasp over many centuries. Songs, poems, and plays have been written in tribute for Hasith and Corycaly for their valiant achievements in annihilating harm to society, corresponding with unique, intelligent races, and uniting people from all across lands and oceans to aid one another. The people love their lords and wish many more successes for them in the upcoming centuries.

However, Hasith and Corycaly may not have a century left in their bodies. A secret held within the walls of the greatest castle with the tallest tower in all the lands, MR Tower, has never left. They fear there time is coming to a close, and might only have a couple of decades, at best, left in this world. But they will not leave without their bloodline remaining.

Coryn Sken, the oldest; Legoh, the middle; and Churro, the youngest; have been raised, educated, and trained by the rulers. Each of the young children have shown potential gifts and uniqueness amongst themselves. Yet only dark and unfortunate future waits for them. As Hasith and Corycaly are fully aware of their childrens' potential, only one of the three can become the future ruler of MR.

Here is the map of the world where the events will be held. The entire size of the map is 4000x2000. So, there will be lots to explore and discover. Click on the map to enlarge it:

Mod-Kingdom is an roleplaying story that takes on the adventure of Mods and Raiders with Coryn, Lego, and Churro raising in power in order to become the next ruler of MR! This version of MR is set in a medieval, fantasy realm with different creatures, motives, and race for everyone to explore and interact. As everybody fights for their reasons, this is an open world with little restrictions (but kept at pg-13 rated) to test out ideas and find creative solutions to solve their situations.

As the adventure unfold, familiar items, events, and people from MR cannon will come to light. Fine treasure, help people, or pillage villages. It's all up to you, your team and/or your cause. Will you join the fight?!

For those who are interesting in joining the adventure, reply here and I will send out a character sheet and answer any question you may have. For those who where in the previous story and would like to return, I still have your character information and motives if you wish to use the same character, or you may want to create a new character and/or pledge your allegiance to a new ruler.

Here is the list of Mods, with their recruitment speech, and Raiders, who've pledge to their ruler. Those who have MIA next to their names will be removed/replaced if this story can take off again.

General Manga writer discussions / When is the time for the main plot to begin?

This question always come to my mind when working on my projects and I've been queried about it for a few weeks now. Typically we see the main plot introduce with in the first three chapters or episodes. However, there are stories were the main plot doesn't show until later in the story. One example I can think of, from the top of my head atm, is Bleach were the story focuses on introducing characters, shinigamis  and hollows before moving on the main plot, which I consider Rukia taken back to Soul Society to face trail.

So this is a question I would like to ask: When is the time for the main plot to begin? Do you like to know what the main plot is going to be within a few chapters/episodes, or do you like to see a character develop and lean more about the world before the main plot is introduce?

Video / PC Games / Having PS4 issues with PayPal

The day before and after the PS4 ver. 4.00 update I have not been able to make purchases on PSN with PayPal anymore. I deleted and re-input my information but nothing change. I know my PayPal is correct because I can still purchase online with the same account.

Anyone else having the same issue?
