i love the colors on your most recent drawing. It brings out a nice emotion. To me it feels like calmness during unsettling or unknown weather.

Hey good luck on your search for an artist. From what I've seen here we have a lot of range from new artists to those who have practiced for years.

Hope you find someone! Good luck and welcome!

Welcome back man, it's good to see you again. What made you start wanting to do narration and voice acting?

I do a lot of dnd stuff as a DM so I already do a lot of story telling and voice acting. I like doing it and it feels natural.

Nice seeing you too.

Life's been pretty solid over here! When last you were around I was still in college, but these days I'm all graduated and working professionally as an engineer.

O thats awesome! I'm working as a technician now a days for AWS.

Welcome back, Rojas! Good to see you again c:

Thank you for the welcome back! Hope to see you aound the site!

Well, it's not super new anymore, but it is ongoing, and also happens to have my favorite name for any media property of all time. It's the light novel series WorldEnd: What Do You Do at the End of the World? Are You Busy? Will You Save Us?. There's just something weird and kinda wonderful about it that couldn't help but draw my attention. It's definitely problematic in a very specific way, but is otherwise about 90% pure charm.

I'll definitely take a look into it thanks! I read the sample online and it seems cool for sure.

Welcome back!

We’ve had several returning faces, which has been nice to see.

I look forward to hanging out :)

Thanks pleasure to see you

Hey Rojas! Definitely been a while man! Cool to see you around again.

It seems tis year is one of reunions haha. Lots of old faces coming back and stuff.

You working on a new story dude?

I haven't worked on a new story in a bit, but I do plan to do narration and voice acting for fun. Thinking about starting a youtube channel for it.

Hi welcome back.

Hi thanks!

Welcome back Rojas! I certainly hope I count in the "old friends" category! It's been *checks watch* only six years!

Great to see you're still bopping around out there! How has life been treating you?

You'll definitely see some familiar faces around here, and a lot of new ones. I can't say you'll find the forum as active as you remember it (the rise of Twitter and Reddit have stolen a chunk of our traffic), but that's not to say we're dead. We still have regulars coming by each day, so don't feel discouraged if it's not quite how you remember.

You are definitely an old friend, it's great to see you still around.

Life is good and I'm glad to still be living it well. How about you, been good?

I haven't drawn in years, but I will join since I haven't done anything creative in a long time.

My art direction is probably chibi and small illustrations.

I'm thinking of doing narration and voice acting for light novels as something to do for fun. Does anyone know of any newish light novels that are good reads? (regular updates and has between 10-100 chapters?)

Hello all,

My name is Rojas and I used to come around here often, it's been almost a decade since I've posted here regularly.

I hope to meet some old friends and make some new ones. I want to start getting back into the creative parts of my life and I thought why not come back here and try to reconnect with a community.

I hope to get back into both writing and narration. Here's hoping to go with a good start to that.

Thank you and I hope to have great interactions with you all.

Music / Re: What are you listening to
« on: July 10, 2017, 06:28:06 PM »
Jeez, 10 years of my life right here, this is in me-chronological order. I feel the swirling vortex in my stomach when I listen to these tracks like this. Everyone of these songs is a time, a place or an era of my life. All of them bring vivid images and memories of the times they defined. I hate this feeling you know, ha ha. Literally it's overwhelming listening to some of these songs in the right mood. It's all here.

I totally get you, sometimes I will hear a song through the radio or internet and it will bring back so much memories. I can remember the first time I REALLY got into The Offspring and how they were my favorite part of having fun. I can remember Nelly and how I used to hang out with friends and he was coming out with some good tracks. Music definitely plays a role to everyone's life.

Right now I'm stuck on The Strokes

They are a great band and I have listened to them for quite a while now.
