Oh I have, Philosotaku. I've met one interesting friend on here last night. He's in dire search for a manga artist. He posted his work on here and I believe  he has a great story. It also has a very emotional story behind it all. His only issue atm is finding an artist that can create mature content and not try and change so many aspects of his story.

With such an emotional background story behind this all, and a terrific concept you and you're friend thought of. With the right artist, this manga really could go all the way; and I for one hope it does. I wish you the best of luck.

:clapping: Awesome. I love the depth of Rex's character. I like that Jekyll and Mr. Hyde influence as well. I understand Rex's strength and what he draws his inner power from a lot more now. (According to some people) Not having an overpowered protagonist is important too. That's sometimes tough trying to find a balance between what's too powerful and what's not as powerful. But making Rex a kami is good way to kinda balance that out.

Also, I like how you intertwine Rex with the other characters. Sometimes writers have protagonists that interacts little to none with the other characters.

And that line is a very unique way to have introduced Rex (imagine that line in a manga with illustrations depicting the violent slaughters and deaths he's brought). But I guess that would depend on what POV you want to take.

Wow. But no you're right, this isn't a comedy by any means. I'm not even sure how anyone could mistake this as a comedy. If that person actually *read* what you posted he/she would have that scene enclosed in your spoiler visualized and felt the intensity of that scene. But yeah, that's my biggest pet peeve, someone trying to change too many aspects of a story that is already potentially great. Oh yeah and what exactly is your vision of Rex? Like could you describe him physically

I respect and admire your stupendous dedication. You're a great friend to have continued pursuing the development of White Crows so tirelessly. This isn't the only forum you've tried is it?

Welcome Center / Introduction

Greetings, everyone. My name is Ao Savage. I'm a 20 year old college student currently earning my major in creative writing. I'm from Maryland and I love anime. I grew up on Dragon Ball Z, Inyuasha, Yu Yu Hakashu, One Piece, Bleach, Digimon, Pokemon, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Full Metal Alchemist. (There's tons more but I'm not going to name them all here). I'm a very nonchalant guy. I don't like drama so I pretty much stick to myself. But I'm in search of a manga partner. And what I mean by that is I'm willing to collaborate with an artist, who'd be willing to work with me and bring my ideas to fruition. And on the other hand, I am more than willing to assist anyone struggling with a script to a decent story (nothing too ridiculous) free of charge.

I love your story; despite you saying that it's a work in progress. I'm an up-and-coming writer myself. I'm currently working on getting my major in creative writing. I love your story's originality and character concept. It seems like you have a very powerful character driven plot developing on your hands here. If you want any help with script or plot, you can count me in. I don't even want pay. Your story, your profit.

-Sincerely, Ao

Manga Artists Wanted / Re: Shonen manga artist needed (Unpaid)
« on: October 29, 2016, 10:50:16 PM »
I'm sorry I don't know any manga artists, but I'm an up and coming writer. I am currently earning my major in creative writing so I can really bring a story to life with text. I actually wouldn't mind doing a collaboration piece. That'll really help my resume.

- sincerely Ao
