I did not get the political stuff at all. it's shame about this war that's going on as I can't really see a reason for it. the story has totally taken a shift. the plot is always "get our peaceful world back" but they have found a larger obstacle than the titans :P

Also I don't get this "titan earth levelling" threat, which side is that coming from....probably should have read a little more carefully lol

I think it's the collosal titan that they're talking about. Armin did do a number on the enemy state with his attack.

I feel sad that titans aren't even that dangerous in comparision to technology, but such is the way of things.

yeah with so much anti-titan stuff and all these human titans that are controllable it's definitely shifted away from the mindless fear. I think fear from other humans in war can be just as bad though, and it's portrayed quite well in the distrust and the carnage.

If I remember correctly, the "earth-flattening weapon" referred to the procedure of releasing the hundreds of titans that make up the three walls and lead them against their enemies with the power of the original titan. I could be wrong, but this does at least sound a bit more plausible than just the colossal titan.

The latest three chapters have justified a lot of the dragging-along that the manga has had. I mean I've been happy with Eren going Ham in general. It's such a better development than how useless he felt in the beginning.

Unfortunately I see a possible talk-no-jutsu ending if this is really it.

Also Levi being short as comic relief is amazing.

Don't feel too bad Suuper. I'm still just sitting back and only watching the anime. Which honestly is really quite palatable now that we're past the days on the internet where everyone was constantly spoiling it all of the time.

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

Glad that people have moved on from that. Honestly suuper you did not want to be caught up with it. It's been a drag until now, and I think the anime watchers will have an even better chance to enjoy it now.

haha I surf so infrequently on the net waves that I generally miss spoilers and suchlike haha
I don't like reading manga blogs and stuff because partly spoilers, but also because it's a constant reminder about how I'm not drawing or being constructive myself.
I'm currently reading about 10-20 chapters a day of different mangas, mostly the mainstream ones just to catch up and rereading my favourites too.
