My Manga Gallery
« on: October 03, 2013, 04:25:32 PM »
I'll put my drawings here. A bunch will be probably be copy-cat drawings because I'm not very good and I find it to be good practice. Any comments will be helpful at my drawings becoming better so don't be shy. Also sorry for the bad quality, I don't have a scanner haha.

Here is my first (it's just a sketch so I will fill it in later):

Nice draw! and shadowing, i really like the shadow you did.
you drawed her reading a book on a table, you could add more ditails,
like her bed room or some thing like that.
that could be looking good if you would add such things.

any way good draw and dont stop drawing!!  :D

Thank you, I've never been very good at backgrounds so I guess it would be smart to practice them. I'll add one soon and repost it.

Those are some really nice copies. You definitely have the technique down. Even when I'm tracing I can't make it look half as good as that.

Thank you. I'm just not satisfied with being able to draw copies, I'm not able to draw originals yet but hopefully soon I will have the ability to.

Shirley´s clothes are nice done.  ;)

(anatomy part: )
- If you would imagine Lulu without her, you realize that his position is too straight.
- If holding something which has weight he is bound to bend a little bit... and if looking down, his neck would start bending a little bit lower at the start of the cervical spine, so that in the picture would the shoulders appear higher... it would make his position more human like…
- as for Shirley´s legs the front one would simply cover the left one more in that position…

Drawing copies is good for practise, but you can do it already very well, so I would like to encourage you to take the next step  ;D

I see, I'll keep that in mind. It's too late to change it unfortunately, I've already inked it and all that's left is shadowing. I will have it up soon.

I did not expect you to change this one... no worry, just a little advice on "bending" for some next time...

looking forward to the shading  ;)

I like the updated pic with the shading. The detail on the girl is nice
