Amie is adorable. Also, excellent work on the inking, as usual. You have such a way with hatching...

Thanks Mahlua. XD
Actually, it's all done in pencil, I just darken it a little on the computer so that it's easier to see. :'D

Oh, wow! Every time I try to just use pencil and darken it on my computer, it messes with the color of the paper...

Yeah, it does do that. T_T Do you use a scanner for your drawings? It helps if there's less shadow on the paper.
And then I go through a couple of steps in Paint.NET to get it to look white. Namely, adjusting contrasting settings, and using the monochrome colour function. A regular scan puts so much blue onto the paper...

Cute! I like the wings alot, and how the jacket is floating. Is it a girl or a boy though ö.Ö from the styling and face I'd say it's a boy, but seeing the flowers in the hair I'm unsure.

Update --
Wut...? Last time I posted was in April? That's a mad gap.
I've been swamped with work and school mostly. So I haven't seen this place in a whiiilllleeee.

I'm still drawing, traditional - and digital now. : D I've mostly been posting on DA. If you want to take a look at some of my recent drawings, you can click the link in my signature.
Or you can wait till I upload some of those pics here. Slowly. I'll try not to spam. Ahah.

Speaking of doing digital... I, uh, I'm hoping to get back into doing VN stuff... *gulp*
It's a lot easier and faster now. Although my style has changed a bit, I'd like to continuing helping with MR VN art... (if you'll have me back - feeling guilty I kinda disappeared without notice. Bad habit. I'm sorry.)

Okay, before I hit the sack, here's a drawing from me - up there.
She's one of my characters. Most of the upcoming pictures will be of my characters.
I might explain some of my stories they're in while I'm at it as well.

Cheers.

That character and that pose and that small flame hovering above her fingertip just oozes swag.

Great work Echo! And welcome back to the forum!

Thanks Fro! :-D Good to be back!
On another note, I saw what you did there  :ninja:
*cough* Actually, I've had some ask if the character was a girl or a boy. It's kinda ambiguous, isn't it... it's the figure... isn't it...

(Oh yeah, before I forget... thing with posting when half-asleep...)
@Gabryel Thank you! It is a boy indeed. I think the flowers throw off the overall look as well... but it was part of the design

.... that's it, I'm working on body types next....

Lol yep. Bam bam bam.

Thanks. That's good to know.
I'm trying to get away from same face shapes... Giving them different eyes helps a bit.

I’m feeling jealous because I can’t draw hair like yours. Back to the literal drawing board.

I feel ya. ): Frankly, I struggled drawing the hair (especially on the first one). I did use references, from manga and real life hair refs. Took some experimenting to get it right. o_o

That's my general tip. ^^;
