Popular stuff huh... me neither. Things like fanart and such are somehow not easy for me to draw lol.

Lovely illustrations!!

The digital one is practically identical, if you hadn't pointed it out I might not have noticed at all to be honest.
I would say the traditional has more texture on the lines, and especially on block shading the digital looks a lot flatter in comparison.

How did you get the shine on the hair, in both mediums?
Like literally drawing a ton of lines until just the while shine remains?

Thank you!

Yeah, I'm not sure if I can mimic the pencil texture for the block shading. If I use "noise" or some other texture, you start to notice the pattern the larger the area. Will have to play around with pencil settings to see if I can do anything about that.

That's literally it! XD

Oh it's totally possible I have no doubt about it. I'm working on my own traditional sketch looking digital style, but it's a background project at the moment.

For adding textures, consider a texture brush with an amount of randomness/jitter?
That way there is no repeating texture over large areas.

These were my attempts, although I tried to create a paper texture as well.
Spoiler

That must take ages to get the hair render if it's line by line. I'm impressed :P
