YuumaKuuga - Thanks :)
Killer B !!SAMA!! - It's GIMP. As always :P. I use the "newsprint" filter on grayscale.

Yo guys. It sure was a while since the last update. But I'm still alive :). Just a bit busy with many other things but alive :).

This time I mixed digital techniques with a traditional sketch to make it look a bit more intaresting. It's just a sample but I really wanted to check out how it'll come up.

nice i really like the eyes , i think the left hand is a bit too large, the wrist joint is not very noticeable so it looks strange.
the hair has a good overall form, but i think it would look nicer with sharper end points :P
well done :P

also i know its a bit late but i noticed your screentone practice earlier, normally the screentone is at diagonals rather than straight up or straight across as you have done, because it makes the lines of dots less noticeable at an angle. just a tip for next time :P

suupertramp - Yeah, I know about the screentones - in the new ones I can gurantee that they're all in diagonals. It just looks like it on the picture - kinda strange :P.

Sorry about my longer absence. I had to write my master's thesis for the last year at my university, so I was very busy.

This one is a fanart. Long time ago when I was in middle school, there was a software called "Baltie". It was about a wizard who conjured houses and many other things. It was made mostly to teach the basics of programing. It was something like Minecraft but in 2D :P.

Touhou fanart this time. Took me quite a long time to finish - especially the background :P.

nice one. i see a lot of touhou stuff around, i never really got into it myself. but nicely done, and a nice background as well.
i think the only thing i notice is the she doesnt have a shadow so she looks like she is floating, but that might be what she is meant to be doing :P

suupertramp - Touhou games are very hard. I never cleared any of them on normal difficulty. But some of them are really worth playing :).

Another nekomimi. This time drawn with traditional meathods and enhanced with some GIMP effects.

Aww how cute! I like how you did the shading.
No one is perfect . . . that's why there's erasers and extra paper.

I feel like on this latest one, you used straight lines to align the eyes, and while that seems like a good idea, the face is actually curved, so you wound up making the eye on the left look a little too low. Other than that, most everything else seems okay, especially how you managed to shade the crossing lace up the front of the dress.
Haha signature go brr.

MahluaandMilk - Yeah, looks like it. Thanks for mentioning.

This time it's something a bit different. I made my first tutorial on the tsuya-beta effect - it's this shiny effect which you can see on characters's black hair. You can read about it on my Deviantart [it contains two parts]. Above are two examples of meathods which I described.
