Awh, the glow on the snow is so nice! Might want to watch some of your textures, though--the buildings look like they're crumbling, but also kinda like they're metallic.

Probably added too much gradient to the buildings - that's why they're so shiny :P.

Finally a screentoned work :). Just wanted to draw a candle in the rain.

Thank you :)
Some days ago another Silent Manga Audition Contest came to an end. And once again I didn't win anything so I'm uploading another of my entries. This time the theme was "Fair play" and my entry's title was "Boyish Games". Link below - also including all of my previous entries. I'll be uploading all of my one-shots and future projects on my Tapas account. Enjoy :).

Just read Boyish Games. Very nice work :). Not easy telling a story without words. How long did it take you to draw the whole thing ?

Time goes so fast O.O. Some time ago I was busy making a manga chapter for one of Polish internet magazines - that's why I didn't draw anything in color for some time :P. And drawing the whole thing always consumes a lot of time. Usually one page can consume 6-7 hours but it mostly depends on how detailed the page is and how fast can you draw. So, when you're slow like me, 10 pages can take you even a month :P.
Some time ago I also tried a new graphic software called MediBang Paint Pro also known as Jump Paint [both of them look the same :P]. Here's the effect:

Don't know if I'll stick with it when it comes to colored works but I think it's worth a try for screentoned works and manga pages - has a lot of potential for these ones :).

It's pretty good color! Although her head and face do seem to wash out against the bright background. Feels like the background should be flipped.

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

It kinda looks like you forgot which side the thumb is supposed to go on on the hand coming towards the viewer, so the thumb and the pinky both kinda look like thumbs, lol.
No biggie.

The colors are really vibrant and pop a lot. I'd just suggest keeping the little details in mind when you're working with color so that you don't accidentally make the piece too busy or hard on the eyes with too few places to rest.

Thanks for the comments :)
This time more black and white works for manga training:

I'm starting to get much more used to MediBang - it's very good with black and white works with screentones. Really starting to like it :)
