accepted. 3 member minimum met. awesome. no deletion.

and jack, what kind of style are you shooting for exactly? you've got a sort of weird mix between script and first person novel. i'd suggest loosing the names before dialogue and just stick with quotation marks.

good point, but i do that because i have to write for both my character and the supporting character that follows me around. it's the only way i'm able to enter insane mode. I'm sure i could just do quotations for myself and put, "Maria - " for when she talks.

just use context clues man. and call outs. like mention the character right before they start talking. or have one character call the other one out. ex:

"Maria! Get over here!"

"Ok!"

or

I called out to her, yelling at her to get to me quickly.

"I'm coming!"

XD forgot to check back on this thing after that post. I hope more people start to battle on the bungie thread. So far only Coryn and I have battled. Looking forward to battling someone else soon.

well lego has been busy with life. same with nyxy. not sure why plague has been procrasitinating on it though.

Guess i'll take some time to write out my thoughts on your writing though jack. since well, it's a workshop and the goal is improvement.

Overall the battle was fairly smooth. Dialogue felt kinda meta at points though. Which i think the problem arises from the fact that you seemed to be writing to me, the other combatant, and not to Coryn the character. If that makes any sense? it's not that the words were wrong, but they felt missdirected i guess. I'm not making much sense am i?

no you aren't making much sense but i get what you mean. sorry for doing that so much. i'm not the best at writing stuff like that. i only did mortal combat for about 2-3 days when it was the original but hope to get on it more often.

yeh. I'm thinking about switching up my style to first person present tense. since that's basically the exact opposite of my normal style.
