o o o o o. i have an idea. since this topic is all about getting artist's environment skills up. what if we get some of the writers to post some of their more outlandish ideas, and see if you guys and keep up with them. as a sort of skill test.

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

okay look like i got some positive reply as coryn say, every writer can use their description to help the artist to leveling up in environment drawing, like i say in this topic we will learn more about environment whether it's  indoor or outdoor, fundamental shoot, perspective, composition/value, rendering(if you can that's good) and etc.
i will post some environment concepts(it's still in sketch), then if you want to learning it i hope you can try to experimenting by using it just use it as a reference(don't copy it) and give your imagination play with it and create your own environment. my environment is kinda sci-fi since i love sci-fi than real life environment(well it's up to you to choose your environment) now check it here.

i hope this will do for now. if you have other reference feel free to use it and post it here let's learn together to improve our skill in environmental design. after we learn to create a city, village, Forrest and etc. let's try, to next level to make our environment come to life by adding people, animal, vehicle or anything you want, to it surrounding, but for now let's learn our understanding about perspective. and if there someone who can give an opinion about pointing some mistake or anything that need to be improved it's always welcome. support this by drawing your environment(for artist) or describe yours(for writer). thank you for your attention and have a good day XDDD!!!

Oh... I though that would suffice as environment

So... Here's a sketchy sketch of a fantasy castle i will one day use for my manga. It's not yet line art'd so the lines are thin from pencil.

It's actually floatin'...

Lol! well the purpose of this is to "make you attempt to make one" heheheh... and make something similar/on par/ or a better one than previously drawn. So you should try makin one to develop your environment design.
