It's my personnal collection of dedicaces, it may be small but each one has a special meaning to them. The demon's diary one is one of my favorite! Kara is composed of two wowen who are very patient and gentle! Too bad their editor disapparead this year...maybe they'll be back at the Japan expo next year!

Here are new dedicaces! This time, from the Bulles d'Aire Festival (comics festival of my town which took place in december).

First: a great discovering: Kmixe, author of a short story in Sweety Sorcellery. A very gentle and patient author whose talent is very impressive! She was very interesting: we share a passion about the 90's anime! She was closer to a friend than a stranger we meet on a festival.
Here is her blog site:
http://kmixeblog.free.fr/

Fennech, author of Leo, rugby passion
A gentle and interesting author! We talked about the editions world.

Tony Valente: when youth means talent!
Just like Kmixe, a young author whose talent is impressive!
His universe is full of manga comics and bd references. His current book is Hannah Hattory. His colors are soft, dynamic and always beautiful. The scenario is full of energy , drama, emotions and humor!
I like to look after the surprises he leaves in each page: Mugen, One Piece etc appears on a corner...
I hope his books will be published on usa because he is very talented.

Alice Picard: a genius with watercolors!
I love the way she draws her imaginary universe. She gently accepted to draw Grisee, my beloved cat who died on January. She took my photo and drew Grisee on some minutes!
This author is very gentle: although she was ill, she didn't leave and was always patient and gentle.

Her ex libris

She also drew a flu virus lol

Guillaume Lapeyre: authors of Explorers
A good surprise from this festival: the author of a French new blockbuster: Explorers!
He was patient and very interesting! He draws details I had never seen before! I asked if he had special reading glasses to draw such little things lol

Pierre Mony Chan:
He is the author I've always wanted to meet. His books Spin Angels are published in the usa!
He draws like a god, has dynamic and alive colors...He's a model for me.
I had met the writer of Spin Angels five years ago: my book now has the drawings of both writer and drawer! A collector for me!
Although I had to wait 4h to have a drawing, the meeting was a great experience. Joyfyl, patient and incredibly talented is Pierre Mony Chan. We talked about the edition world, about WWE, Sailor moon (the mysteries of amnesy and miniskirts or why doesnt anybody recognize this blond dummy??), anime, manga... a GREAT moment!

A special ex libris he made...

Wow, I wish I could meet these artists! And I had no idea there were so many french artits influenced by manga! Wow.. I'd love to meet them.. or just read their manga... Are any of these translated into english?

Just wow though... they're so professional.. *sigh*
How old are most of these artists?

Some of them are only 20 years old! Most of them are around 30 years old.

I will add new pictures of a dedicace which happened one week ago: once again Benjamin!

ps: some of those artists are published in the usa: aurore (Pixie); Jean Luc Sala (Spin angels).

Hiro Mashima was the ancient assistant of the author of One piece, that's why he has a similar drawing style.

No need to say it's the masterpiece of my sign up collection! ^o^!
