My Crappy Drawings
« on: March 30, 2012, 10:03:03 PM »
I say crappy because I'm not all that good... yet.  But I will be!!  Right now I'm just copying some of my favorite drawings for practice.  I really don't know any of the technical stuff or really anything at all for that matter, so if anyone has any tips or advise for me, that would be awesome!  :D

Anyways, I guess I'll just post my drawings as I go; that way I can see my progress and hopefully get some great tips too.  Here's a couple to start the list:

They're not crappy at all! Jees, get some confidence! They're pretty damn good if you ask me. I actually love the rough look about them, and think i've fallen in love with the last one :D

Things to consider in the next few drawings - In the second drawing, the face seems to be out of propotion with the rest of the drawing, maybe you could try fixing that with lighter lines on the outline of the face, or perhaps studying body to face proportions for a bit! Either way, awesome stuffs nonetheless :D

Thanks man!  I know they aren't that horrible, but I guess I'm just always seeing ways they could be better, you know?  There's always room for improvement, right?

I really appreciate the feedback too.  I'm doing to try doing the lighter lines thing that you recommended.

Hurray!  Someone else you likes bobobo!  Cookies for everyone!!  :D
