Death Note Manga Ending

What do you think about the Death Note Manga ending ? I heard many say its disappointing. light just died of a heart attack.

He{ryuk} writes his own name in the book for his own sake, its real diaspointing, so far thats what I gathered even as Rem said "It was a sad ending after all"

the manga has an epilogue: Ruyrk killed Light so he could become a shinigani himself..together, they want to create a new worls, this time, in the underworld. Ryrk says at the beginning "shinigani world is pathetic now"...
it's not an end, but a beginning. Who knows what will happen once Light becomes the master of the underworld, with plenty of deathnotes....and the powers of a shinigani? I'm sure he'll be happy to play once more in the living world.

in the manga, she doesn't die but becomes the headmaster of a sect: misa and a lot of people cherish Kira and his justics.

The girl at the end of the manga is just a girl.
Originally the girl had no face but Obata-sensei decided to draw her a face because he wanted to 'draw something pretty' for the final chapter. :)

The last time Misa was seen was when she was in the hotel room, right before they go to the warehouse.

They were interviewing the authors in How to Read 13, there's where I get most of my info about the manga from.

when it comes to death note endings i just go with the anime cause its the most fulfilling for me. Kira dies a pathetic death, Ryuk is the one who writes his name down, Misa is standing on the edge of a building. and the good guys win. (so to speak)

too bad for light...
anyway i don't like him...
