[VOL 4] Editorial Team
« on: October 28, 2011, 03:03:39 AM »
The Mangaraiders anthology is a collaboration project involving many members and resulting of books containing more than 80 pages.

The anthology conception contain a large hidden part which concern the technical formating of the pages.
It means file properties checking, grammar checking, page numbering, file renaming, files formating , printer's dialogue etc : lots of tasks which need time and efforts.

I took responsability of those tasks for the last anthologies but won't be able to do all of them anymore.

I will need help for:

1. grammar checking:  read all pages and notify the author if any grammar mistake is found. Legomaestro, Coryn Sken

2. files checking: verify that the pages we receive correspond to the file settings we need.

3. pages numbering/file renaming: number all pages and rename them  :

We will add details in the following days if we need more volunteers.

Don't forget that several members can propose their help for a  same task. ^^

Thanks in advance to our future Editorial Team!

i can work grammar too. it'll be best to have multiple people working grammar anyways since little things tend to get overlooked a lot.

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

in theory yes. i feel hasith mentioned a bit ago that what's stopping things from going through is not having a team for editing.

Yes. We need a team of editors to format it and get it done. Cory and I can do the publishing but We can't do the whole thing anymore. We need volunteers.

Hasith, I had a thought.

I was wondering how possible it is to make the anthology digital? I was thinking that it would save a great amount of time and effort. It would also be so much easier to share online for example using our facebook page.

I'm still up for the editorial team though. So any time this gets rolling again i'm ready.
