He's the spirit of a real human. I considered him human through the whole show.

But all the FMA characters are.

true that...they are all awesome. often i imagine people just imaging a person inside the suit, most of the characters in the anime itself think that :P

well he is insanely good at hand to hand combat, and otherwise hes basically bulletproof :P
that kinda helps to keep someone alive :P

Indeed that is true. So.... How come they didn't protect the seal a bit more? Like creating a layer of steel around it o_o  And then put some random stuff on it so it would be impenetrable o_o
