... Nah. I'll leave it. I'm really tempted to delete rewrite that story. But I think it was the first story I posted, and it reminds me how I wrote back then. What is this effect called again? It's similar to looking at first posts in the Welcome Board...

As newly appointed Junior Loremaster, it is my duty to do my due diligence and read every single piece of Canon that is inscribed in the scrolls of lore, and the fact that I carelessly forgot about an important piece of Canon literature brings me a great shame. A shame that I cannot bear to live with.

There's only one way to atone for my sins...

I told you some changes were happening. I need to get back on them though, still things to do after all.

I do remember you mentioning that. Looking forward to whatever else you add to it.

Also, I've been pondering on the idea of doing a tier list consisting of MR characters from the canon, as well as npcs such as the tans and 4kids agents. All for fun of course.

The only problem of course is  the limited amount of story presence a lot of the members in the guide have. If I were to go based on theory alone, many of the  newer members won't be accurately placed on the tier list. And for the most part, the majority of written canon doesn't consist of many fight scenes where our characters are using their natural abilities, so pulling tangible information from those stories to form a reasonable tier list will definitely be a challenge.

Mortal Combat and whatever transpired at Bungie could be a good wealthy source of information. Unfortunately that source of information eventually comes to an abrupt halt, and once again falls to my earlier point of newer members not having proper story time to show off their stuff.

I still wanna do this though. I'm thinking of starting off the tier list like this:

MR Tan and company (Pub tan might be an exception though, since she's technically not a combat type.)

Hero tier(Maybe???) and so on and so forth

Suggestions anyone? Could something like this even be feasible?

I'm not sure. Like DBZ, power levels in canon are impossible to pin down, and you can only really get a general sense of how strong someone is. If anything, it might be something to just add to the character descriptions to give a little context.

But I don't know, it feels kind of limiting, and just another thing potential new writers would have to worry about. It seems just as reasonable to me to say "Admins are basically God's, Tans are like demigods. Mods are super strong but can wreck just about anything of they get serious, and regular members are more or less on an equal playing field if they can imagine themselves to be." More eloquent than that of course, but it gives the information someone needs without trying to rank us like NCAA teams.

Good points, although I wasn't intending the tier list to be part of the official guide. Just a fun little side project to work on and eventually present to everyone and get their thoughts on it. Tier list of anything are, for the most part, purely subjective after all.

And plus, it doesn't benefit the guide in any way, which is why I'm strictly doing it for fun. I'll probably attach a disclaimer to it at the beginning to let the newer writers know not to take it as law.

Still, in order properly construct one, hella research has to be done, which means I'll probably have to do a lot of rereading of canon stories, which also means I may have to dig through Mortal Combat, which also means that I'll probably end up reading at least over 200+ pages of nonstop madness...

Gonna be a lot of fun, and headaches, to say the least.
