I don't think the head shape is a problem. I mean, that style does exist in mangas. Now if suuper was going for more of a realistic approach, then yes it would be incorrect. ;-)

I think the arms need a little work though. They aren't structured quite right, as revealed by the elbow and wrist joints.

@ryan in real life yes its oval and stuff, but since this is a manga style i chose the head that i draw. at the moment i am fairly comfortable with the shape and proportions. when i work with other styles and going into more realism i will bear that in mind though thanks

@jp89 yes i had absolutely no idea what to do for the wrist. i will work on the arms a bit more, even getting the right proportions is a bit of a pain, but i think i am getting there :P

You have improved   a lot since the first drawings you posted.

The shoulders and  breast proportions need to be worked on but  the drawing is cute.

The torso seems a little short with the one on the right. Make sure you are sketching out basic proportional guidelines before you start actually drawing in the character. ;-)

This last drawing is really cute. Proportions maybe very slightly out but I don't think it's very noticeable. Keep drawing !

@jp yes i always draw the basic shape in first, but with only half a character it can often go a bit wrong as i cant draw the rest to check the proportions against.

@hasith thanks, most of my drawings dont turn out as cute as i would like though!

latest stuff i did today in lunch break, chains and some doodling over my notes in class, which is a bit rare (normally i get out my blank paper but i was kinda in a lesson). plus one which turned out kinda okish, although i didnt finish it :P

Nice job on the practice, Suuper. You're definitely making progress. I didn't quite see it before, but the chains are awesome. I was flabbergasted when I saw them; I couldn't do better. Your proportions are better, and your eyes definitely carry more depth. Keep it up!
