Please Read Before Posting A Story
« on: May 02, 2011, 12:18:05 AM »
Post Stories, NOT links to other sites.

No exceptions.

The Manga Creations board is to post your own completed stories and/or finished chapters. DO NOT post those stories that are still "being developed". For that we have the Develop Your Story board

00) Post only Finished stories and/or Chapters

01) Non-Completed Stories post >> Here

02) Fanfics post >> Here

03) Use only the name of your story in your Title. Nothing else.

04) Only one thread per story. DO NOT create a new thread for every chapter you post. You can create a topic for members to review and discuss your story in the Discussions sub-board here >> Here

In this is says finished stories, but it also says completed chapters. So if a chapter is done, is this where we put it or just stories we finished?

WE should allow current number of chapters.

The profanity filter was a pleasant surprise. I'd completely forgotten that one of my stories has a few swear words. I noticed with relief, after the fact, that the curse words had been automatically edited out. Saved someone from having to chew me out.

What about different story's season? We can make another thread for this right?

well, aside from the fact that stories don't have seasons, it is still sort of a gray area.

I'd say it has a lot to do with length. for instance my series is split into 3 arcs, but each arc is roughly the length of a novel. The content of each arc is also different enough that the story takes on a new feel and theme. because of this I created a new topic for each arc.

but if you 'seasons' are maybe only a few chapters long, and the next season isn't anything dramatically different from the season before it, then no I wouldn't suggest making a new topic.

it's all very subjective.

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF
