Hmm.. I do have some good quality paper, but it's so expensive. Like, $15 for 20 pages of 8.5 x 11" paper.. So lovely.. but I feel bad just doodling on it. X]
I do have some average quality (HUGEEEE) paper that I always get from my dad's workplace though. Guess I'll just stick with that until I get my japanese paper imports. >: D

That sounds a little too expensive for some normal 8.5x11" paper. I can get a bundle of 200 for $6 at my local supply store.

Yeah it is.
I had to buy it once for a traditional art class I was taking.
Not buying that ever again. >_>

Dude, where you shopping at? XD

Lately, I've just been using normal white printer paper to draw on...
Though, I sometimes get these average quality sketchpads at WALMART for about $4 that come with a fair amount of pages.. about 30 maybe?

I use printing paper for traditional drawings as well. I stopped using sketchpads because it's very difficult to get the high quality, smooth ones in my area for some reason. It's like you have to know a secret handshake at an art supply store to get access to the Sacred Paper Chamber. The cool thing is that my friend Tony has been dropping off some high quality art supplies for me whenever he gets extra from his dad in Hong Kong. I've been focusing on digital media lately, though.
I'm back~~~

Same here, actually. I can outline pretty well with my tablet, but I want to get used to drawing on it as well. It's still a bit akward, but pretty good. I've produced a few nice things from it.
Ahh.. I'm jeleous I wish I had friends like that. ): <

Uwahhhh you're so lucky to have so many supplies *w*
Australia lacks art supplies, especially the state that I live in so UGH it gets annoying...
I gave up this year and turned to the computer, where I live, Traditional media is not a good idea unless you're ready to drive a long way ._.

My uncle who lives in Australia said you're more likely to see a random bush fire before you reach a store there. xD <3 living in a well-populated region.

Hey iceh there's a paper that's just heaven for drawing, its a heavy-weight paper Its not really expensive but i dont really remember the name, it's actually better than japanese imports (I have tried a lot of those), it's resistant, smooth and white as clean snow, it takes any dry and wet media plus it's not very expensive.

I think the paper's name was Opa-something... that cant be right, i cant really remember the name.

I've never heard of any of most of the things you guys have listed  Since I just started to draw I only use paper, pencils, and a trusty eraser to fix my mistakes. I figured I might buy a tablet and some programs later on after a few years of practice.
