well the art isnt too bad. some more definite lines between panels would be nice. though here's the thing. the way the anthology is set up it's more like a traditional manga or comic layout. i.e. more vertical. what you have here is laid out more like a comic in the newspaper

Paulina, Check the dimensions of Anthology pages. Your drawings has to fit this page. Remember what we do it making a real Manga. So there will be plenty to learn first. Not just about drawing but also about sizes and everything.

Don't worry you will get plenty of help from other members. Don't hesitate to ask things you don't understand.

like actually spit up the panels more. if you look at professional stuff theres always a gap between two panels that remains constant throughout at least for the most part.

Yeh i checked that out before but i do not really understand:

03. Pages  MUST FOLLOW ComiXpress minicomic page Template
Trim: 5x8"
Bleed: 5.25x8.25"
Live Area: 4.375x7.375"
Margins: Top: .3125", Bottom: .3125", Sides: .3125"
You will find a page template which includes the printers cut here:

And yes I have asked Corycaly, now I am just waiting for the answer ;)
Anyway how is you?

Paula, did you send me a pm? I have not received your questions.

Do not forget to ink your drawings (manually or with a pen tablet)

We are currently sending the files of the last anthology to our printer (we are awfully late indeed T__T)

You can use Gimp/Photoshop to be sure the pages respects the printers settings:
1. Dowload the printers page :
http://www.comixpress.com/templates/CP_MiniPage_JPG.jpg

2. In gimp or photoshop, OPEN this page.

3. Import your drawing and modify it to fit the printers settings: drawings must be ONLY in the white part.

4. Once everything is correct, erase/ check the unview button or put the opacity of the printers page to 0, so you only see your drawing. Save your document.

You can ink the pages with a black pen and ask someone to include the text and format the pages.

Everybody can take part on the anthology, do not worry!
