Legomaestro's Art Box
« on: September 09, 2010, 12:19:32 PM »
I'm sorry, moderators for making so many topics. But from now on i plan to dump all my art, be it vector/ sketch i'll put it here. If they fit in the 'other' section i'll make a single topic there as well, but that's all. Please have mercy!

So here are my sketches. I'm really having a blast of inspiration...

I found myself sketching and sketching. Here are the considerably less embarrasing ones:

Shiningami! He looks more funny than serious, i know:

The deadly, faceless knight. I enjoyed this one.

I was trying to draw my character, Genbar, but it turns out to be a girl (or is it just my eyes?)

Okay, i admit, i spent some time on this one so it isn't exactly a sketch. I hope to vector it

sooo. What does everyone think?

Thats quite nice ^.^

You took a nice step on the anatomy of the knight picture.

and the first one looks funky :D me likey.

Im not sure what i can say to the last one.
It's a simple pose and you hide alot.
But i like the uniqueness of that espada :D Aladin would be proud.
Nice work!

Funky, eh? That's the description for it, i guess.

On the last pic well i tried to keep it simple, but i guess i could go for complicated.
Aladin reference = win. I wasn't actually thinking of that at first, but yeah it looks completely arabic.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate your input.

Thanks Coryn. Hehe, i guess i'll just reveal this little fact: He has my face... Hehe. I espada'd myself.

Plus the name is a wordplay on my name and nickname.

Okay, i really better get vectoring. Sketching is so easy it makes me lazy to work on them...

A question for vectorers: How do i go about shading? I prefer the simpler type. I don't need multiple layers and FORGET about meshes. I'm still traumatized by them... Help me please?

I didn't do either. Just one layer, and my brush. Anyhow, I like the concept of the second.

@ Coryn haha, but that shinji one was really good. I'm sure you'll be up to it. Anyway i'll wait eagerly for that topic to emerge.

@ AnimeDoodler. Thanks!

I have this slight problem of wanting stories for every single character i draw... Anyway here they are! Oh, and shading using layers is less stressful than i thought. I'm going to learn to get better in it and rely less on Photoshop filters. Layer shading rocks!

Lion, my gunslinging, weird-hairstyle cliche with a unique story. Fierce and nonchalant, this person has had problems, and will have more.

Mirth, his nickname 'The Wizard of Sound' He comes from the Core Power Academy of Supernaturals that defeats all forms of evils. His 'Core Power' Manifests into a guitar and his fingers strike a body shattering torrent of awesome rock music that makes people feel like their in heaven and evil bastards feel like their in hell.

Travis, the over-silent dojo master. Little is known about this strange character

(Anatomy turned out unrealistic in some areas so sorry for laziness. I hope i captured that 'bleachish' look though. I just LOVE flowing coats.)

Tensha (I guess i was thinking of Naruto and Bleach at the time. Don't even know if that kanji means anything)
