A wild monster appears
The monster looks cool. Is that a burning village in the last little panel.

A little late, but those are some great wind effects on the third panel from a couple posts back! I'd love to see you do a more fleshed out panel like that!

I just like looking at that difference in their sizes in that last panel: the "puny" human facing off against the oversized opponent XD Neat panels. Wonder what's going to happen next
No one is perfect . . . that's why there's erasers and extra paper.

wow so much stuff since I was gone (^_^)
It's like this thread and your other arts thread is a different person posting haha.
I especially like the sketches where you did a thumbnail first, and great armor shading on the first character in that set.
Funny you say it helps because I literally just said that in my reply on your other thread haha. I think we start to sketch a character without much of an idea what they will be like, so we miss out on opportunities to flesh them out and add more details that a pre-sketch would have avoided. (gotta do more of that myself, ahhh, to-do list, can you get any longer?)

nice manga pages. while simple, the sound effects really help. I get stuck on that because I'm more used to Japanese sound effects so I get this strange culture-clash in my head when I try and use english sound effects :P
nice monster enemy, although having it on two legs feels a little strange for some reason.

I know the thing about onomaetopia. It's so hard to do it in english. Japanese wording just fits so well. I can barely read Bleach with english sound effects haha. Strange but that's how it is.

@Echo scale is something that I'm trying to remind myself exists. Like I say a lot a lot of my characters have the exact same height in relation to eachother. They are rarely shorter or taller than anybody else and just shift their heights according to my whims haha.

@Walter thankee man. And I hope I can finish this comic at least (probably won't but meh haha) I'm so jealous that you can finish yours man

@ Coryn I know. Backgrounds really make pages pop out a little more. I was happy with how the page turned out too. Thanks man

@ Keane no it was a close up on the monsters' eye. But thanks haha. I need to post more pages rather than singular ones but I'm not warmed up enough yet hehe.

@boss it's not a competition. Everyone is going at their own pace. Just take ideas you can then work on your own stuff at your own pace : )

@Vikings I liked him too. Seems like he'd be a cool desert punk.

And page 3 of whatever this is.

nice and mysterious.
I really like the digital style you've got going there lego, did you use multiple layers to build up the sketch or just drew it as-is? I feel that it's a lot neater than your ink sketches, but the sketchyness is still there and looks nice.
good use of solid blacks, gotta do that myself.
