Gaah! There were actually two typos there, so I've gone ahead and fixed them. I'll update the pages.

Thankee Walter B! Man, landscapes are impossible. I definitely need to flex those muscles more methinks. Like, what are stick figures for backgrounds? I need to do a thousand of those before I get a feel for it.

Monster fight incoming indeed.

One chapter before I officially feel like this is a main comic. I've really got to get back to Penance, though.

All I know is that I should've been doing at least storyboards from a wayyys back. I got too caught up in the illustrative process of making yet-another-badass-slash-hot-looking-character that I completely forgot why I joined the forum: I wanted to make manga. I'm so hard wired to worry about profile shots of characters instead of seeing how they interact with eachother with meaningful dialogue in sequential art. I'm going to definitely head down that road now.

Man it's been ages since I visited this artbox of yours, Lego.

The art has really improved since the last time I've seen it. I feel like you're really coming around to fully cultivating this unique style of yours. You definitely still need to work on your backgrounds so more, but overall Cheers to your progression, Lego!

I also read a little bit of Penance some time ago. Looks good so far. When I read it in full I'll share with you my thoughts on it.
Messatsu...

You got a lot of nerve showing yourself around here Server! You never write, you never call. It makes a mother wonder if you even love her any more.  :sadbye:

The influence from Kubo is real, mate. Glad to see you've been up to something at least, since I certainly haven't.

I ought to let myself talk a little in my art box without waiting for the next time I have an update. But ah well.

Domo Arigatou Mahlua-chan. Kubo is awesome at style and scope. I wish I could just nail character designs like he did then the lack of backgrounds wouldn't be so nasty haha. I'm actually looking a lot at One Piece nowadays for inspiration though. Just love how diverse the characters are in that.

@Sherbert great to know you exist at all ye bastard! Hope you're doing well, and thanks, and sorry for the late reply!

@ Walter B domo arigatou Walter-san. I just need to find opportunities for more. They're pretty fun to draw actually. I'm just sad that my backgrounds are pretty much non-existent.

@Frono Will be looking forward to that... ish? My art still needs to get well rounded enough to even warrant being critiqued haha so thanks for any attention rendered. Yeah, you said it man. Backgrounds are doom.

And with that... After finally finishing my Penance obligation I've managed to make a chapter for SLG... Which brings it up to 5 chapters. And I'm planning on 30. Which makes it an official project now.

I've managed to train myself enough to see that I need about an hour per page. So at 4 pages a day I can churn out 1 chapter a week  reliably enough. And I'm hoping to do it. It just feels so good to feel up to this after that insanely long training regimen. I finally broke something inherently procrastinatory in my mind and I'm excited for what that means in terms of projects...

Hmm...I don't know. Something about the apocalypse makes it feel like it should be a pretty definite time period. How long before apocalypse just becomes post apocalypse? I guess it depends on what said apocalypse is. But like, if it's too bad, wouldn't everyone just, die not too long in? These things don't tend to leave a lot of survivors after all.

Mahlua-chan.

So sinister sounding for some reason. Kun? Perhaps?

Mahlua-kun then? Mahlua-kun it is.

Yes post-apocalypse is more right. There's definitely no radiation in the city at the moment.

It was more like a sword twirl switch to head stab than actually riding it, but yes I loved drawing that panel haha.

Yeah the severed head is talking. Also the creepy kids who got shot are still walking. They're weird like that.

Still rockin with MSPaint? Glad to see that some things don't change. Action-packed as usual. I see that edition of distorted proportion to exaggerate action. Great work on that!

Hopefully I'll get around to posting some stuff myself.
