Thanks Killer B, muchly appreciated.

Not sure if I'll continue these but I have some new ones on my head.

Had a bad night as they always come when I try to be more productive. Spent hours swearing at myself and art. Always happens like clockwork when I try to shut off my inner editor and just get work out. It's ridiculous, and I really don't want to go through that anymore. It's just sooo exhausting haha.

I think I've got it handled for this moment, and I'm not looking forward to the countless mistakes and climb for improvement, but I hope that I can at least start finishing actual comic projects.

Spoiler
A man goes insane from the amount of misfortune in his life, and starts looking for the luckiest person on the planet to ruin their life.

This idea is inspired by Masamune Shirows' art. I'll just be experimenting and copying his style as much as I can   - minus the grayscale haha
The Styx Project

Humanity is hibernating to survive the end of a demon apocalpyse where demons hunt after human souls. The super soldier guardian of the sleeping city is bored because of how well things are going... so far...

yeah, most of my best works comes from when i say "ok im just gonna muck about a bit" ,but when i am serious i get all clunky haha :P

your backgrounds look a little better than before, they are a lot more well defined and less sketchy (they were really sketchy before lol), keep it up :P

Cheers Hydro, I appreciate it. I really do hope so. I'm desperately trying to integrate drawing as something more regular in my daily activities, so I forced myself a little and ran out of ideas at a point, but I did feel good about it in the end.

Glad you could find some form of inspiration from it in the end. Would love to see what you come up with

thanks again

@lego you did all those sketches in like 3 days since your last sketch dump?????????
wow lots of drawings haha :P

actually almost every single sketch for your last post seems a lot neater than before, well defined sharp edges, balanced shading and costume. looks like a serious improvement :P
and nice to see a range of characters/body types that are unique from each other, thats something i get stuck on and make everyone look the same :P

Yeah, I made a post on that called Hyper Beauty syndrome. I seriously feel uncomfortable making odd looking characters. I need to be done with them.

Thanks suuper, I pretty much stepped on the accelerator. I want to be drawing everywhere I go now. I'm on that fine line between drawing being a hobby and something I genuinely want to spend time on so I'm trying to integrate it in my daily life as much as possible.

Unfortunately I keep on makinng false starts with comics haha.

Neato sketch dump. I think for what you draw with these are cool, especially the full body shots. Like for a pen drawing on that scale they look pretty solid and well put together. A fun cast of varied characters, I like rat man. I assume you draw this stuff pretty quick to eh?

Thanks Manimal. And yeah, they're pretty much all fast sketches, but it doesn't mean if I take longer they'll magically get better unfortunately. I just needed to get these out real bad. I hit an inspiration burnout, but was glad to see my pen could still move.

I hope to be able to start on background sketches too.

Although seriously, "Cut all bastards, and feed them to dogs" would be a great name for a punk album.

A lot of these character sketches remind me of street artist caricatures. Little bit of a Picasso vibe coming off a few as well. (There was one headshot of a woman in there for instance)

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

I gotta say: I still like it when you drift away from the more anime style of art in your pen sketches, Lego. You've got something of your own going on that could be a slam dunk if you keep developing it. Could easily come up as an indie-comic type of project that would be fun to see. You still making short comics in your free time? I wanna see these character in a story setting.

Anime has heavily influenced my drawing yeah, I just want to be able to draw now, since my ever so loving dreams of being able to make manga got crushed! Curses. I wish I were Japanese

Thanks man, I just need my hand to be able to behave. I can go with the flow but I'm not sure yet about containing the characters to look consistent page by page. As for comics, it's definitely what I'm looking for.

You mean like Heartbreaker Samantha, the Lego one or...?  But yeah, I'm still making 'sketchics' as I call them. I really need to finish something, and I have more time now that I finished a long training regimen.

@Coryn Indeed, indeed

Picasso vibe? *nose grows very long* Thanks man, muchly appreciated.
